The whirlpool uses twice the amount of water on the one hour cycle approximate 6 gallons versus 3 gallons. I have a five-year-old Amana dishwasher made by whirlpool always works best on the quick
1 hr cycle with one pod and pouring cascade liquid detergent in the pre-wash container.🍽️😃
p.s. I do not eat crud, but I’m sure it will work on that too.😮

I always try to wash out and or loosen stuff before putting it in the dishwasher, else junk just sticks or it doesn't come clean. Also there's the issue with trying to keep drains from ever clogging. I'm big on not letting any of my drains clog if I can avoid it, so rinsing dishes out in the sink first , like spinach, etc. helps get it out and the dishwasher cleans the rest and mostly sanitizes. Hot water is needed to sanitize. You don't need your heat /dryer for that if you use hot water for cleaning or rinsing in the machine.
I never use the dryer. It's hot and costs more to use, I use hot water only.

This is why the dishes don't come clean in an hr. Explained by our tech who put in our dishwasher. He said that it has to do with the fact that they've changed the soap to more environmentally friendly or something like. Anyway, you're not crazy, it's the soap. So that's why this man is having to use 2 to clean his dishes, the soap is not emzymes or something rather than the powerful stuff that it used to be.

I loved this video versus another one I just saw where the guy explained the buttons, this video really shows that sani rinse is not available with the 1hour wash. Also, how does the rinse aid work? I filled my dispenser and it’s still there after 3 washes, hasn’t been emptied

    • @southwestcarwashes

It only dispenses a little each wash, if it emptied the whole thing of rinse aid, your dishwasher would flood lol

It's really a rubbish machine. I got the 3C26 Whirlpool dishwasher for one month but it is still not working. I called the Whirlpool Hong Kong but the booking needs two weeks. After the checking, they still cannot resolve the problem or replace the rubbish. Now the machine is like a rubbish to stuck in my new home. My wife is hand washing the dishes now and daily complain me to get this rubbish.

Check your water temperatues, check your filter in the bottom and make sure you're loading it optimally and not blocking water flow.

I could never put my dishes in that dirty. I use my dishwasher as more of a sanitizer thing. My dishes are pretty damn clean before they go in, even the best dishwashers don't get it when it's that dirty.

Not true at all. Had a kitchenaid a couple of years back, never rinsed a thing, always spotless. Same results with my current Miele. You’re not supposed to rinse, just scrape.
