I’m not super close to that spot ~ I get my tickets from about 8 different stores randomly. Publix on Belcher and Gulf to Bay, Publix on Belcher and Sunset and all the different gas stations around those areas.
I think this one “feels” like what the vast majority of us more casual players experience. Mostly “break even” tickets with the occasional ticket paying 10x what was paid. That rare big one keeps you going back and the lotto banks on it. I like to try and visualize it…if I opened 4 rolls of Pennies and put them in a brown paper bag. Then I took one or two and painted them red and tossed them in and shook the bag good. If I reached in without looking, what are the chances of picking out that red one? For the million dollar prizes….that’s like putting enough pennies to fill a swimming pool then tossing in 5 red ones then blindly trying to get the winner. It seems impossible. It’s the thought of being unique and different and lucky. We all feel that way like we have a chance others don’t. Somehow we are destine and maybe even deserving. I for one feel like that! I play so I have to feel that way because “statistics” don’t have emotion and never think they are special, the just ARE. Statistics have no soul lol! The lottos job is to sell you that you will be special….every one of us….but that’s not how the odds work at all. Having said all that depressing shit, let me go to the corner and throw another $20 at this thing!

I work in Ogden utah & we get a lot of missent mail & the 1s that always makes me laugh is the 1s from a place in Florida to another place in Florida & it ends up in Ogden utah. I've seen a lot of those. Some are like right down the street from each other. I rarely mail anything now cause of it.
