Christian's first match with Kazarian was a work of art. I like Christian's new gimmick which seems to be : "battle hardened veteran who isn't as strong but relies more on his wits and experience". his second match with Hobbs was perfect. They both came out of that really well, IMO.
I wasn't entirely sold on Christian Cage's signing. But after seeing him with Powerhouse Hobbs I can't wait to see his next match with all the young talent AEW has.
I wouldn't call him the most underrated "of all time", but he's definitely highly underrated. He's got everything you look for in a main event star. Unfortunately, it took WWE quite some time to realize that he could be a top guy. Also unfortunate is how he was always thought of as simply being Edge's former tag team partner. Edge was able to break himself out of the "he's a tag team wrestler" mindset, but for Christian it was an extremely difficult thing to do. To this day, I think that most people who never watched him in TNA still think of him as a tag team guy.

Such a criminally underrated performer Jason is. The dude's almost 50 and has a killer physic while giving us awesome matches like the ones against Omega 1 & 2 and Hobbs.
It will be a slow building up to this. Doing it this way will make it more interesting to see it develop. Putting him in an instant match with Omega would be taken negatively as he has just joined AEW and the other talent would look on this in the same way and thinking he has just got here and he gets a title shot already and they busted their asses.
Im starting to like aew more and more. When you have a good boss that treats you right. You want to give your 100% plus more. Tony sounds like a good leader hope he doesn't heel turn anytime soon.
People made fun of Tony for announcing him as one of the biggest signee. But after his recent TNT run and the fact they got Adam Copeland (aka Edge) because of him .... nobody is laughing now. Tony Khan knew what he was paying for and people were just too quick to judge.
This man will always be better than Edge. Of course Edge has more accomplishments. I think Christian in ring work is better especially comparing the two of them today. I think his charisma is also better
AEW should start booking events at arenas in states where there’s little to no restrictions, bring their crowd revenue back, and maybe even house shows if they did that before.
That puts the wrestlers at risk. That means at the arena the security and anyone else who works in there that's not in AEW can possibly get the wrestlers and anyone else sick. It might not happen but the sligest possibility it could would probably be a no for Tony Khan. And I doubt any of the wrestlers would want to risk it since they could get their family sick too.
Once again... it seems like AEW gained the BETTER HALF of a famous tag team. First AEW signed Money Matt... which you can argue is in a way better place than jeff... now we see Christian doing much better than Edge. Edge blew out his return by fighting that hardcore match out the gate... at least AEW is allowing Christian to slowly EASE into the swing of things.

Both of his matches were full of psychology, storytelling and athletism. He was not my favourite in the attitude era but now in AEW he is and by far.
