Hi Jeff & Amy…. this video has wrapped so much into it. From gravel placement to wood pike burns, to pulling wires, foam sprays and multiple sheets of installation. I love the Christmas Tree on your special wooden table. A real touch of home and this season. Merry Christmas to you and the kids.
My dad was a General Contractor who mostly built Custom Homes in the North Eugene Area. I helped him built these houses in the 60s and early 70s. It is enjoyable to watch your videos as it reminds me of everything that I remember helping my dad and his crew building houses. It is amazing seeing how technology has changed and improved from the 60s until today. As a retired Fireman, it is amazing how well you have done in building your new home in Idaho. I am looking forward to watching your continued progress in building your dream homes.
folks, bear in mind, since you insulated the floor, yall have got to put plastic on the ground also. i learned the hard way.btw, my house is pale gray inside and i love it. it allows you do put most any color furnishings in it..........g
Good choice for using Behr paints. Behr paints are very durable, and work great with spray painting equipment. Plan on several coats of paint. I used about sprayed 50 gallons of paint for my 1900 sq ft home I would recommend that you paint or stain all the woodwork materials in advance of installing. It is a time saver than to paint/stain all the woodwork once it is installed.
Loved the tie up of the projects. I also love that you are an advertisement for Willamette Pies. LOL.........Kelly loved that pile burning but was so sad to miss it. Stay warm. Love you, Mom
Yes, some of the yummiest pies there. The burn piles are always fun because it makes such a huge difference. I can’t wait till you guys come back and see all the changes
I love the color scheme especially the chic gray. There’s nothing brighter than a white with gray undertones. It’s a much cleaner, livelier color than white with beiges. I’m also looking forward to your getting drywall done and it looking more like a house.
I love watching the build.... Thank you for the Christmas music and the sign off.... Christmas is the best time of year, may Jesus always be in our hearts...
As a general contractor I’ve seen a lot of home fires, usually one contributor is running flexible duct off of your hood fan, it should be solid sheet metal with three screws per joint and taped to prevent the fire from blowing out. I just thought I would throw my two cents in there hate to see your beautiful home burned down to the ground.
Hi love 🥰 you guys worked so hard thank you for all your videos l have seen them all love ❤️ your family merry Christmas 🤶mum dad 👨 and all best wishes ❤❤❤❤❤❤
If I win the lottery, i think the person that gave me the ticket will likely be more upset about giving me the ticket. I would laugh a bunch and give it back. LOL. Looking good y’all!
I’m glad you combined all your projects together. I kind of have the inside scoop on what you’re doing and can’t wait to see the stained wood. This is looking good.

Good catch, we have been waiting to do that until the sewer and insulation were done. now that they are both done we will have to get right on that 😜
