as a person who has made an entire fnf engine in godot before, why are you using region rects with sprites instead of using an animated sprite with sprite frames for your sparrow atlas stuff 🤔
That's a really good question. 1. I never used an AnimatedSprite before, so I have no idea about how it works. 2. That's kinda how FNF works. A xml file is basically a bunch of information about a frame, such as frame position, offset, and *rect size*. 3. Using an AnimationPlayer to animate those sprites give me more freedom to do it, since it can animate almost everything.
@@IsItLucas i guess those are some fair points, although i was also wondering, did you ever make an automated system for making the animations in the animation players? like i would assume so because otherwise it'd be really tedious to use
so 2 questions 1. Will this engine be used in FNF Nightmares? 2. Will this be more of a “kade” type of modding or “psych” type of modding experience? ( i mean will it be beginner friendly?)
i cant wait to see where this engine goes. its not rocket science the godot is more powerful then haxeflixl so this engine could pretty much change the entirety of fnf mods

0:38 Finally, someone fixed the notes positions. It was REALLY annoying seeing the up and down notes in the wrong places.
