    So are you saying that if you change out your gears you should change out your carrier also? Factory carrier is not good enough for aftermarket gears?

      @Yourlivewithblaze  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      My carrier was shot already... if you're going to change the gear, you should consider the whole assembly

    Went from 3.55 open (on 29.5" stock tires) to 4.56 spool rear/Grizzly locker front (33.8" mud tires) and kept stock like performance powerwise, 1000% more traction tho!

    According to my owners manual. If i had 4.10 gear ratio, ibcan tow a little more weight. Which would be better. Change rear axle or have my 3.73 ratio converted to 4.10. I have a 2013 gmc 2500hd. Any advice would be appreciated

      Bro my chevy came with stock 3.23 and 275/60r20 (33) tires..it's no way 33s are too heavy for your truck lol.. anything over 35 you may wanna consider going up 3.73 to 4.30 depending on what u want out of truck (towing, mpg etc)..

    What gears are this for ? truck , car ? I have an ls3 , and curious what I got. Was told 3.27, but read yesterday 3.45 for 6 speed, which is what I got. Want to improve top end. Thanks

    On a 49ers truck do you have to change the front with the rear or can you just change rear???

    • @diesel1586
      @diesel1586 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So that’s what I’m dealing with now, the carrier pin broke on my 3:08 setup so I’m thinking of going with 3:73s, popular consensus is that I’ll have to change the front too, it does make sense though

    • @Agent.K.

      Definitely do it. 3.23 in a truck is a terrible idea unless you do a mega-shit-ton of highway driving. I swapped my old Suburban from 3.42 to 4.10 and it drives like a much lighter vehicle.
