Love this pattern. I make blankets to donate to several organizations and it's easier to get the size right starting from the middle. Holes aren't too big and it makes up nice and pretty with some texture.
I am hooked on mandala yarns right now. This is so pretty and would look awesome with their long colorways. Another one to add to my to try/to do list.
I see so many granny squares and pass them up, not because they're bad but mainly because I've seen and done them all. But THIS is something new! It's very unique and pretty! Thanks 😊
I think this pattern is so cute and so simple! Also, I'm not new to crochet, but this is the first time I've seen the standing treble (double crochet in US terms for me) and I am absolutely going to try it now!
Hi Rebekah Oh this is a lovely variation on the solid granny square, another must have. Thank you for your great tutorial as always. Take care Hugs Amanda from Lincolnshire xxx
Let me know how you get on, I don't know whether it's just my tension but after 12 rounds mine started to ripple a little, so I'm going to keep mine quite small and join them together. 🌸
Hi, is there a written pattern anywhere for this fantastic block? I do turn on the subtitles, but I still can't get it all. I have seen some channels with a transcript feature. Is there a way for me to access that? Thanks for any and all help.
OK, here's your problem with the large squares. You actually hit on the flaw in the pattern in the first two minutes of the video. You are using the same rate of expansion as for a square of plain Treble crochet rows (UK), but the standard pattern doesn't include post-stitches. The post stitches are essentially shortening the rows they are on because of how they are attached lower down than a standard stitch. You need to make the post stitches taller to compensate for this shortening effect, or yes, you will have rippling/warping as the pattern moves outward.
I'm sorry but it's people like you that discourage content creators. Since you are so advanced, you can simply move on to more advanced videos. There are so many you can choose from. Other people, (me included) LOVE the fact that she clearly explains how to work this beautiful pattern. And here is some friendly advice,, and I say this from my heart: if you can't say something in a polite and/or constructive way, please don't say anything at all.

Beautiful 😍
I'd love to see how to join these together.
I've got 6 so far 💗
Love this square, but what would be your preference in joining them together?
I love the Slip Stitch join - personally, that's my favourite 🌸
Love the pattern. Think I'll try it, but one big blanket. It will be a baby blanket.
Let me know how you get on, I don't know whether it's just my tension but after 12 rounds mine started to ripple a little, so I'm going to keep mine quite small and join them together. 🌸
I like this pattern
Might give this a try if I haven't decided on my project after next, once I've finished my lemon peel blanket. :)
Sounds great! 🌸
ME ENCANTAN LOS COLORES.
This would make a beautiful throw blanket Christmas gift for my sister.
Would it work to do one large granny instead of multiple granny squares?.
this is soo tricky for me but i’m trying
That’s great that you’re trying, keep at it and you WILL manage it! 🥰🌸🧶
Great tutorial, beautiful pattern!! How would you join these Rebecca?
Personally I just LOVE the slip stitch join for granny squares, I think it's a really neat finish 🌸
@@BlossomCrochet thanks 😍
Thank you very much. Can you do this with any yarn size?
Yes you can! Just use whatever hook size your chosen yarn recommends 🌸

Do you have to turn your work? As in does this add to the effect, or can you just continue on the same side?
I'm pregnant with my second girl and I'm dying to make a blanket for her, and this is it.
Would you mind sharing the colours of yarn used please?
I started this pattern as i think its beautiful but after 2nd colour started to ripple any reason why? Am i doing something wrong?

Can you please get a tutorial Juliette corset crochet pattern? How to make crochet Juliette corset?
Is there a written pattern?
Is there a written pattern available?

Do you have a written pattern? The video is too fast for me.
I don't understand why you keep turning it... it's a granny square...
Turning when doing continuous patterns keeps it from getting that uneven twisted look. I do it for all of mine, what a difference!
Too much talking, get on with the project. Oh my gosh.
