Miis are like the best thing nintendo could have thought of making and I think it was so much so that Microsoft wanted to do the same with the Xbox live characters. Tímida Chi Life. And Miitopia really shows the potential of miis and how the new customization from miitopia can be HUGE for more games and hopefully a new and improved tomodachi life

When I got my Wii U, I was very disappointed to find they removed the ability to transfer Miis via Wiimotes from the old Wii. Also, the process of transferring data from the Wii to Wii U was a one-way, destructive process, meaning I’d lose everything on the old console. Additionally, that option was a very bad idea, because some of my most played Wii games would lose the ability to be played with GameCube controllers (Smash Bros. Brawl & Mario Kart Wii, specifically.) In the end, I had to borrow a cousin’s 3DS (which I didn’t have) to transfer my 70 Miis from my Wii to his 3DS and then to my Wii U. Why, Nintendo, why? It’s no wonder the Wii U did so poorly in the market.
(5:00) No, complicated characters does not mean large file sizes. Because all a character is in these games are what settings are chosen, so the file size is only determined by the amount of options chosen. So reduce the amount of options, and the file size shrinks. When you transfer a Mii to the remote, you aren't transferring the 3D models. You are only transferring the settings of that Mii (and that it is a Mii). For example, Xbox avatars are more detailed, for sure, but they lack any option of position, size, rotation for the facial features, meaning less options, meaning a potential smaller file size than a Mii character. ... again, you aren't transferring the 3D models, only each individual value in the settings of that character.
Shigeru Miyamoto, the father of Mario, is also the father of the Nintendo Miis?! That's amazing! I love hearing about the development history to how the Miis were created. If I could I would thank everyone involved in the creation of the Miis. Thanks for the amazing video.

It's funny how Miyamoto's colleagues questioned his idea, when Funny Face came out on DOS in 1990, which is basically a simplistic version of "Make someone you know".
That's what I thought when I saw footage of it. The way they blink is similar. Yeah, the idea of using photos of real people's faces definitely came from there.
You make some really nice and well edited documentaries on video game history that not a lot of people know about. You deserve way more than just 7k subscribers.
On the Wii, other than making them or playing with them, all you could do is watch them talk, sneeze, fall asleep, or fall over. The concept of Tomodachi Life was amazing to me, that they could more deeply interact with each other and do so much more than that.
We need a sequel to Tomodachi Life with a lot of new stuff like, new song genres, roommates, Nintendo Switches to give to the miis, room and clothing customization, heck maybe even same gender marriages.

Remember when the Mii's were important? Mii too. Which is one of the reasons why I prefer the Wii/Wii U over the Switch. I plan to get a Wii U soon(maybe next week), to play NSMBU, Nintendo Land, Virtual console for the N64 and DS, and more! Just to relive the good ol' days. Ah Nostalgia. Mii too. Which is one of the reasons why I prefer the Wii/Wii U over the Switch. I plan to get a Wii U soon(maybe next week), to play NSMBU, Nintendo Land, Virtual console for the N64 and DS, and more! Just to relive the good ol' days. Ah Nostalgia. It has taken over me, and I'm proud of it.😊

Listened to this one with earbuds in and none of the SFX bothered me. I only noticed the music being a bit loud during one part as well. Seems like you've found a sweet spot for balancing audio.
