Oh, the Shadow ingredient you need to cast that spell to go to the surface, is one you actually concoct at the caldron! There's another tab aside from the spells that lets you make ingredients, and shadow is one of those that you can make.
Also pretty hilarious with Apollo on the main attack boon. An AoE increase on something that's already a huge AoE gets nuts, covers pretty much the whole screen with each swing (Also hilarious on the special, Ω special especially getting stupid huge)
I love how responsive the battle comments are sometimes. Hecate gloating when your morph fails on her, and then you get immediately sheepified yourself 😂
This weapon suits you! Imagine if you'd gotten to Chronos with solid defenses+health instead of the Special boons - that Omega attack was just *melting* him!
You can invite people to hotspring by gifting them bath salt Be careful tho, you need to give them enough nectar for them to accept the invite, i think you need around 4-5 nectars gifted.
28:35 I reckon that figure isn't actually Chaos. Or rather, the one with a full body isn't. It looks like Chaos was ripped apart and is in the process of regrowing a body through that umbilical. Instead, the more feminine appearance and the globe earrings make me think the figure holding their head is Gaia, one of Chaos' "children" and the Earth itself. If correct, I don't know why she isn't speaking however. Furthermore, if correct, I wonder if Ouranos might appear later. On the surface, perhaps, if you make your way to Olympus. Could be wrong, but I feel the earrings are a strange touch otherwise and I don't know what the fetus would be for if they already had a new body. 1:14:20 Traditionally, Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus drew lots to determine who got dominion over which kingdom. Makes sense to interpret it as the Fates deciding who went where.
I’m trying to avoid spoilers, so I’m sorry if you answered this already in one of your videos, but is your Early Access playthrough going to be your playthrough of Hades 2? Or are you playing to a certain point, then resuming with the 1.0 release? Thanks 😅
@@МиносАлександрийскийYes and no. I stopped around 20-25 runs when it was clear that dialog was repeating and unlocks required a lot of grinding. I made it to the end of both pathways multiple times and experienced most of the content. Going to wait until the next beefy content update to play more.

Shadow isn't any sort of resource you get from runs, the cauldron has a second tab for alchemy. :)

The axe is actually my favorite weapon so far. Some hammers and weapon aspects make it just an insane weapon to use)

Same, I'm into oversized two-handed weapons in all my games AND real life so I'm glad it's so good here, especially once you get the aspects.

Different characters have different gift 'progressions'
But if they refuse, you don't use up the salts so it's worth checking
The codex clearly spells out the requirements, and most don’t require more than one or two nectar.
I'm down bad for overly sized slow swinging weapons so yeah this is like my favourite thing between both both games.

Oh, I just realized I was wrong about the Gaia thing. Chaos also has a miniature Earth in the first game. That's just a thing they have.

The save files carry over apparently, so probably gonna play until Some Point and continue with 1.0 when they release the full final story elements.
