I see your Strat to wait out the Reflection. It's a longer fight this way, but it works. NG+ can be a pain in a$$ with this boss. But folks wouldn't understand unless they tried this in NG+ with latest patch updates em buffing the boss. Good job mate!

GG. I’ll try your strategy; waiting for the reflection to disappear. Really struggling with this boss (not even NG+). Perhaps being lvl 60 with a level 1 Grinning Axe (can’t upgrade weapons) doesn’t help lol.

How to find this boss?
You have to do the steps for the Umbral Ending. There are several steps, so it would probably be best to check out a tutorial.
all you need is search on youtube " umbral ending" and follow the steps , but if you have cleaned one single bacon in the game, then you will need to start another playthrought
Are the clones limited to 3 or can she summon more? About to fight her ng+ myself
I've never had a run where she spawned more than 3.
She only summons 1 until it dies
Easier boss than others beat her in 3 death on Ng +2

Why would I stand there and fight a health stealer? You cannot do any damage to the boss when the mimic is out. The smart play is to avoid it's attacks.

It's tough. Definitely not for everyone. This game is really meant to be played Co-Op for most players IMHO. And NG+ is really meant to be played Co-Op and even then, it's really difficult. Solo is bonkers man. 15 minute boss fight with a boss that has a reflection and can one shot you is absurd.
I thoroughly enjoyed it.
But I'm probably insane 😂

Don't do that. 😂 I haven't played it in a long while. Around 6 months. The pvp was so bad I lost interest.

I did help alot of people beat the game when I was playing though. I played the last level so many times I lost count.

wtf? why do you do so little damage? or maybe she has massive health pool on ng+?? i recently beat her on my radiance build , on first playthough with dual pieta swords at +9 , really not so hard boss , maybe the hardest boss in the game , but still all bosses in this game are really easy , i beat elianne on second try , hope on ng+ and upward the bosses have much more health , otherwise with +9 or +10 weapons it will be a walk in the park....
NG+ HP is probably triple and resistance much higher. This was also before the update that changed a bunch of stuff. Not sure how it's playing after update?

Elianne becomes very tough in NG+. 1k-2k Damage is merely 4-5% of her HP. Talk about the projection, that has same amount of HP poos as Elianne. So by the time you finish off her 1st reflection, you'd hardly have any HP/flask charge. Damage received from her is enormous. God, it was a nightmare for me!
The difficulty spike on NG+ is ridiculous. I felt the same way as you on my first play through, I beat every boss on my first try. It took me a whole day to beat the Lighter Realer on NG+, the fight lasted over 5 minutes with the amount of damage he takes. I just got to Elianne today and she’s no joke, you really have to learn her pattern to be able to beat her because you have to take way less damage than you give in order to win.

Equipment list is in the description. I don't exactly remember the attributes, but it was an agility/endurance heavy build.

😂 There is a difference between adding buffs and casting magic. This is no different than adding buffs to my weapons with salts. The game does not offer consumables to buff your character, like say, Elden Ring with Exalted Flesh. This is the method you have to use to buff your character, it's not casting magic. It's not spell casting. If you want to get technical it's a shout. It does not do damage to the enemy like a spell from range. I defeated the boss without any range attacks what so ever. The title is completely valid and accurate.
