There's a thing that stuck me in Sweden, as a Portuguese. Being interrupted and to interrupt (insert regret face) a normal informal conversation is quite common in Portugal. I think they mean 'welfare state or welfare which is a type of government where the support is intended to ensure that members of a society can meet basic human needs such as food and shelter
@@novahauhnar But how is this achieved though? By using taxpayers' money to pay for these needs which means that people receiving this money are dependant on taxpayers.
I'm sure most people understand what he is trying to say even if it isn't the most grammatically correct way to say it. Societies that don't have the robust social welfare that Sweden does requires people to be more directly collaborative with each other, and that requires a better ability to directly communicate, converse, and even build new relationships of all kinds (helpful neighbors, friends, spouse, etc.).
Haha definitely not. I just did a tour of Europe in the summer and this is the last video. I didn't do Denmark this time around but I have videos on it if you search older

Something about their culture seems so sad. All these unwritten rules on how to live with people yet not deal with people. It's amazing how the one woman doesn't ever realize when she said we have the most single households and sees no issues with it. Being independent and having no human connection is actually sad.
It's much better than being stuck with others due finacial dependency People still leave their houses pretty early in South America to get married since they wanna run away from very toxic families but can't do it by themselves. I truly believe there's much worth in loneliness
I found in Scandinavia, they will open up if you start the conversation. People say it is hard to make friends in these countries. However, once you do (it is not as hard as they make it sound), you will have a genuine friend for life. True, there are unwritten rules, as with many cultures, however, I never saw it as stark as people say it is. Plus this is Stockholm. Like going to New York or Paris and making the mistake of thinking all Americans are like New Yorkers or all French are like Parisians.
All cultures have unwritten rules that has become the norm beacuse people like it that way. Like the "rules" to not start talking to strangers on the street and so on. Here, that is a sign of respect to not "go inside" someones personal space and just ego-start something with them. To the world.. Swedes are not cold people!! Just be socially aware of the people around you and not act entitled to talk with people who are not making eye contact or seems wanna have a chat with you too 💗✌🏼

“We have good welfare so we are not dependent on other people” - what?! Welfare is exactly depending on other people.
Precisely.
@@kylesavage4525benefits are also taxed so everyone always contributes.

All swedish men are gay thats why swedish girls goes for arab men
2:40 I didn't know George Michael had a son. OMG 😮
Swedes are never cold with peoples that they like.
Something about their culture seems so sad. All these unwritten rules on how to live with people yet not deal with people. It's amazing how the one woman doesn't ever realize when she said we have the most single households and sees no issues with it. Being independent and having no human connection is actually sad.
It's much better than being stuck with others due finacial dependency
People still leave their houses pretty early in South America to get married since they wanna run away from very toxic families but can't do it by themselves.
Just be socially aware of the people around you and not act entitled to talk with people who are not making eye contact or seems wanna have a chat with you too 💗✌🏼
They are deeply sad people
