I had not heard of Kishi Bashi until a friend gave me this vinyl to listen to. Started listening just 15 minutes ago, (as I write this comment, Q&A is playing) but WOW, this song is incredible, I needed to jump on here and say so. Can’t wait to listen to his other works.
The beauty of this song literally makes me cry, like at the part in anticipation of and when he says "carry on" I just lose it. Like his angelic voice is speaking right to me.

I get such a strong, almost overwhelming 1971-1977 Genesis vibe from this (Nursery Cryme / Selling England by the Pound - Trick of the Tail / Wind and the Wuthering) that said, it's definitely not a ripoff and it has its own creative merits, which I applaud. Overall very impressed with Mr. Ishibashi
