Are you working on this yourself? I'd have to be clinically insane to attempt this myself so props to you if it's in your ballpark! Congrats on your 18th btw :)
Hi Leon, thank you for even visiting this and thanks for congratulating me! The thing is, I really like playing the piano itself more than making videos and so I've decided to focus on that instead of making videos. You guessed that right, this video was pretty much made just to help me, together with the sheet music. I didn't pay any attention to the sound or looks, as that's very time consuming. So yeah, I've practically quit youtube. "Maar niet getreurd!", there will be a video of me playing Rachmaninoffs Op. 33 No. 4/5 on my instagram soon.
@@schutsheer_des_vaderlands Jaap, it's always a pleasure to hear from you! I'd have to be quite egocentric to be upset because you want to do something else; something that doesn't benefit myself. As someone who is just a little younger than you, I completely understand that these are the years where we should realise what it really is that we want to put our time into, because there is only so long until wasting time is not an option. Personally, I have recently registered that I would like to be a film director primarily, and a composer secondly (wouldn't it be fun to score your own movies?). Because of this, I have put piano playing further down on my list of priorities and I am currently focusing on film theory and watching films for directing, and composing and listening to music for composition. In that respect, I look forward to seeing you prosper as a pianist - of course, with Rachmaninoff op.33 no.4/5 in your repertoire, you are already very accomplished! Not to mention that hearing about your piano playing makes me determined to improve my own! Also, let me know if you ever want to hear some new music! I've listened to so much music now, and there are so many hidden gems I have unearthed, so just notify me if you want to learn something rare or listen to something underappreciated - obviously I won't mind if you don't feel the need! Sorry, I've really rambled on here, but I wish you good luck on your goals, and hope to hear from you soon via your Instagram! _Groeten!_
@@leonlinton634 Thanks for your understanding! You're right, there's really no time to waste and I hope your ambitions in the film industry, together with music, will bring you great succes and of course, enjoyment! I've realised that playing the piano is my hobby, but it's worth a lot to me and I'd like to improve my techniques and repertoire as much as I can! Maybe I'll hear you play too sometime. Of course I'd love to hear some new, rather hard to find or maybe unusual music, because it's pretty hard discovering all of those hidden gems yourself. So please send me your recommendations and I'll listen to them! Groet, Jaap
Hi Jaap, it seems you've deleted your Instagram account (?) hence why I'm contacting you through this channel but I just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas! I was 13 years old when you were nice enough to take on my synthesia request and I haven't forgotten your kindness since. I hope things are going very well for you and _vrolijk kerstfeest!_
Why does this piece remind me of a winter night where a whole family just ate and now sits around a fire place.
U back
Errors in the midi file:
Measure 1: right hand should play A-flat, not c (00:07), same for measure two
