Thank you for posting this video! I have hair that is similar to yours, and I experience so much frizz! I have been contemplating cutting it much shorter, because I didn’t know what to do with it. I tried your method yesterday, and no frizz!
I tried it and my hair looked absolutely wild and stuck out all over the place. I just can’t style my hair upside down 😩 I think I have too many cowlicks

Thank you for sharing your stylings! You have so gorgeous hair, i also be like you. In Japan curly hair styling method is not popular yet. I will try with you!
I’m also a loyal Orange Marmalade user, haven’t even glanced at other products. Is there something you liked better about the LUS gel? Did it give as long-lasting hold as the Orange Marmalade? I wash my hair every 4th day and have wavy hair that I can get to 2c with effort but it does get stretched easily (wind, etc.) so I need all the help I can get to avoid refreshing every day!
I’ve never known how to manage my wavy hair. Every stylist has always blown my hair straight. I’m so excited to get some of these tools and give it a shot, thank you! Do you happen to have any washing/styling suggestions for those of us that workout most days of the week and need to scrub our scalp regularly to remove the sweat?
Thank you for this. I can't wait to spend 1 hour doing my Hair 😂 if it's gonna come out as pretty as yours it will be worth it. Sharing my with teenager daughter who is also obssesed with pretty curls
Hi! When you do your regular wash routine (not for a video with clothes and trying to stay dry), do you usually still do it upside down with the shower wand or do you use a regular shower head? Do you always do all of your steps upside down like this? Thanks!
Hello! Love your chanel . Just had a doubt. I have waist length curly long hair and i use cantu curling cream and styling gel post my hair wash. But I've noticed that i have a lot of hair fall when i brush my hair to take the knots out when i have applied conditioner. Any tips on what can be done?
I always have issues styling upside down because I air dry my hair, but there’s definitely some tips I’m going to take from this routine. Do you have a routine for wash days while traveling?
I feel so sad I naturally have wavy hair but my waves have dropped tremendously because I never really knew how to take care of them and it makes me sad 🙁 but I would truly love to work on my waves and get on this regimen ! Hopefully I can little by little get to see my waves come back and enjoy my wavy hair naturally 🥹🤍
Hi there! First off your hair is gorgeous! 😍 Quick question….when you do you’re normal wash day do you still shampoo/condition your hair upside down? Thank you!
I did the routine and it's definitely the best one I've done so far! I even got some ringlets! However, it was still pretty stringy, especially around my face and on my top layer. My hair underneath is great though. What do you recommend?
A few questions, do you do this each time you wash your hair? I wash my hair twice a week and feel like this would be very time consuming. Is there a quicker way to do it? Also, is there a way to do this without having to bend your head over? I have vertigo and the bending down can cause it.
Yayy 🙌🏼 you’re back just when I decided to start my curly hair journey. My results just starting are incredible thank you to your recommendations. I’m in Aus so can’t get the Xmondo or LUS but have the orange marmalade and curl smith foam which is working pretty good. I would love to know when diffusing do you just hold it in the one spot till it’s dry then move to the next section? Or do you go in and out? Thank you so much 😊 your channel is AMAZING!
@@WavyCurlyAli I have very thick hair that if I don't dry it, it's still damp at night. Any ideas on how long it would take to defuse it? You have a lot of hair as well I see but mine is kind of coarse and thick.
@@tinkeramma thanks. I've tried everything so far and it still looks like her before picture. I don't think I have the patience for another 2 years or 4 years of getting my haircut to get it all off. LOL

@@WavyCurlyAli oh okay you just mentioned it that was quick I'm glad you got back to me cuz I didn't think you did thank you so much I'm talking to my hairdresser about getting the cut I sent her the video of you getting your haircut and she said that's pretty much what she does with all her girls that want to stay curly. It's kind of scaring me because my hair looks so crappy when I leave it natural it's kind of the same thing so if I could even get close to what you do with yours which probably going to take a year or two I would be happy thanks for your videos they help a lot!
I'm kinda new to this curly girl technique.... I never see any curly/wavy girl use a heat protectant as part of their product application... is it not needed? Won't the heat from the dryer be damaging to the hair after time.... and will it mess up the curl process if I add it? Also, how much gel do I need, as some say you need alot, others, like yourself, don't use so much. You have gorgeous hair btw! 😊
Thank you!! Great question. I use a very minimal amount of heat and infrequently, so I haven’t personally experience damage from my dryer. That said, I do love the Briogeo Farewell Frizz as a heat protectant. You can get travel size bottles at Sephora if you just want to trial it before buying a larger size ❤️

So I just tried to do as close to your routine as I could, only it was nighttime so I slept in a plop. At one point during washing upside down I started realizing how am I going to part my hair?? So I kept going and early this morning I took the plop down, my hair was still very wet, the waves looked good but on top of my head my hair was going in so many directions (I’m used to having some kind of side or middle part) do you part when it is dry? If you part your hair will it mess up the curl clumps since they will be in new sections?
