Trendsetters but at least they can actually rap!
Thank you for sharing this with us. People who seek fame don't understand the personalities and needs of others who don't.
This one gave me a different outlook on life real talk 💯 My guy is super humble and he went through it ✊🏾 big respect to Rockwilder, glad he’s in a better frame of mind now.
homie did it for the love not the fame and the clout...refreshing...salute...
Just know when I was coming up in middle and highschool I looked up too you like a super hero when it came to production you gave me a lot of good vibes and moments I can relate too thru your music even tho hated the fame Roc we loved you FAM.
All he seemed to want to do was share his talent with the world, not his life, his morals, his family or his sanity. Talented and humble, how often are they mentioned together in todays viral world? May God continue to bless and keep him and thank you Hoffa for providing a platform for truth, information and inspiration, keep it coming bro.
I'm wasted talent because of anxiety. That shit is too real I can't even take compliments on my whip I start getting antsy 😒
Same here bro. Getting anxiety in traffic lately or even speeding up. Wtf
FACTS I CAN’T EVEN TAKE COMPLIMENTS AT ALL PEOPLE THINK IM AN ASSHOLE BUT I JUST CAN NOT BELIEVE IT NO MATTER WHAT I DOWNPLAY MY SKILLS AT ALL TIMES I BELITTLE MYSELF BEFORE ANYONE CAN I HATE LARGE GATHERINGS AND CROWDS I HAVE SO MUCH TALENT BOTTLED UP IVE BEEN TRYING TO FIND WAYS TO BE SUCCESSFUL WITHOUT PPL KNOWING ITS ME
same here. sigh
@@waynealfred3858 well there is 3 ways ghost producing, song writing , or become a publisher
Excellent . We need more of our brothers to express real and raw emotion to each other . All that glitters ain’t gold. Healing process .
Math salute for holding big bro down we need to vent to each other and be vulnerable
Love the honesty. Everyone's not interested in the lights and money and the pressures and drama that come with it to stay and maintain. Some folks rather choose peace.
Love to This Brother and Love to The Whole Podcast!!! 💯
A younger me would think he's insane to NOT want the fame and accolades. This version of me... I get it. Salute to Rock. And to the brothers in the room that held him down and let him speak. Made him feel comfortable. That's priceless therapy.
Keep giving us these jewels Hoffa. The streets love you brother 🔥
I’m so proud of these men! These are what kings look like! Keep up the great work!
Reservoir dogs. Styles p destroyed that beat. Damn hurt 😞 feels like a therapy session. 😪. We love you bro
I grew up at the beginning of Hip-Hop...while I have seen amazing and wonderful things in the culture along with the bad. I can say that I have never felt more proud of the culture that I am right now watching this interview, and the many interviews prior to this one. I am just blown away with how Math Hoffa, along with his crew of Es$o, Mecca, Hynaken is using his/this platform to allow us, who only get a glimpse in from the outside, and showing our patronage for the artform what it is to be in it. To see "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" of it all to use the title of a great spaghetti western: I am just humbled, thankful, and amazed!
Respect for the music and for being a Black man brave enough to share your vulnerability publicly with other Black men!
BIG UPS TO ROCKWILDER MAN! BROUGHT ME TO TEARS
Cool brother, respect his vulnerability🙏 a real one. Rockwilder got hits on toppa hits,

Hoffa..u dat dude! You really embrace these legends ,much thanks! big shotta
Could someone kindly inform me on who “shake” was who Rock was referring to, im assuming they were a dear friend.
Im thinking he's talking about Shakir Stewart. The exec from DefJam who committed suicide.
@@imsofocused4678 oh ok, very tragic. I hear some people had some blackmail dirt on him too, that’s foul of true.
@@i_am_gohan9232 nope. L.A. did some sucka shit to him again as he always did and Shakir just snapped
@@bossblck6399 L.A. always rubbed me wrong. He just has this face whenever it’s as that nigga, he was always ice grilling, never smiling unless certain moments call for it. Shady ass nigga.
The man that ROCKWILDER is speaking of regarding “fame” is CHRIS “SHAIK” MATHIS from Queens, NY world renown dancer/ choreographer etc. not to be confused with Senior VP of Def Jam Shakir Stewart.
Easily the best podcast and hip hop journalism in the world so proud of math and his whole squad. Bravo gentleman.
RIP Shakir "Shake" Stewart. The reason we have half of the legends, icons and stars we have today. Shake was really the man. It's the names you don't know that have the biggest effect on how things move and Shake is one of those names. Rest easy my guy. You did well.
Salutes Shakir Stewart and thanks AOI for the info. Met Shakir twice here in ATL, solid brother through & through.
Shake was mentor
Not disrespect but I just wanna know, why did he take his own life? Was it really due to the fame n money
thanks for this comment! I had no idea who Rock was talking about. And none of these intervieweer dudes even provided that necessary context
Unfortunately, I can’t look up this man’s story without wading through a stupid pile of clickbait. Gossip vlogs and conspiracy theories every which-way. 😖
i love this dude. math you really are a true gem to hip hop. thanks you all you brothers.
