I own an altro with same engine and I am getting 17+ mileage on suburban driving condition ( seldom achieve 80 kmph speed) , while 15+ in city condition.

May be your milage method is correct but you should have driven it till the fuel tank indicator reaches the E that's reserved level, only then the Error in calculating will be minimum and we can get more realistic idea about the milage. Request you to please repeat the test which covers more Distance. Thanks for video 🙏

Engine is small and underperforming as compared to the weight of the car that's why the mileage will always be less. Had it contains the 4 cylinder engine like that of Suzuki cars then the mileage as well as driving comfort would enhance greatly. I have also doubt that the ac will work efficiently during the peak summer season like in Delhi under loaded condition. Also it has much space in its engine bay and a turbocharged engine may be fitted in it and an optional variant could be introduced.
It is not at all fuel efficient. Better to travel in aeroplane for longer distances if 1 or 2 passengers are traveling as it will save time and money. For city drive. ev cars is the right choice. Soch vichar karlo.

Aj showroom me live deka lekin ek bada loophole hai cladding aur body metal ke bich me bahut uneven gap hai, problem yahi hai isme na bahut dool mitti jama ho jayega aur saaf karna bahut bahut mushkil ho jayega. Mileage test ka tarika galat hai. He has not used same petrol pump. Also many petrol pump gives less petrol than expected. I have seen petrol pump filling meter showing more filling than the capacity of tge engine. One of the best way is to measure the petrol in jar before filling and checking from reserve to reserve.
