Tony, you are correct. I mean, regardless of any transposition of keys, he is still hitting it right! I pray that this will be longer than 10 years. Also, I hope they make an album that really pops into mainstream. They are ALL great after all these years (no pun intended).

Its 2019 and Arnel still the lead singer, actually the longest touring lead vocalist of Journey history....he just need enough rest coz he's 50 years old ☺
Don't get me wrong, I like Arnel, but his voice is starting to fade just like all of Journey's vocalists. Unfortunately, Journey's catalog is a grueling one and takes it toll on even the best of voices. Arnel should think about resting his voice before he ends up losing it.
Do you know why SP cannot return as frontman? he might just be the great boxer who retired while still a champion instead of having his face kissing the canvas floor of a boxing ring. he knew when to have enough. have him retire with grace and give him credit for his altruism. he knew that the band will be able to get someone strong enough to sing the songs of Journey
im maybe wrong.. but the key is still the same.. his voice jz became thicker this time..i compared this to sp's 1982 separate ways the key pretty much the same.. tired voice here but still ok
Journey needs Steve smith on drums and Steve perry on vocals its just not the same. they sound good but the groove is different Steve smith is a master at that and the sound of Steve perry harmonic voice .
