Ugh, I honestly hate instagram makeup, and I find that a lot of "makeup gurus" on youtube overdo it a lot with their makeup. Some put on LOADS of highlighter, it makes you look like an oil slick. I like this look better, way more elegant and classy

Haha but all kidding aside, I'm so glad professional makeup artists do makeup tutorials. I know I'll never afford this stuff but it's cool to learn tips from them. They actually know their trade, unlike all the other people who just put on loads of foundation and stick on eyelashes and call it a "natural look"

+Alexandra Zeres to be fair, the products sell themselves when you try them. I got a sample of the Magic foundation (not used here) and was totally in awe of it - I have very dry skin and even with a solid skincare regime I find most foundations are either too drying or don't have enough coverage. This was literal perfection on my skin and it lasted for 18 hours without touch-ups. I haven't tried Dolce Vita yet as I prefer cooler neutrals like Uptown girl, but I'm 100% going to try that first lip combo!

At first the way she just puts on the cream(magic whatever), foundation and concealer I'm like, no. It was not blended really well(at least in the vid, I think they cut the parts she blend it in) but then the finish look, wow, it's greater than most youtube 'guru' makeup tutorial.
It's quite easy and simple, plus not cakey or drag-queen-ish(I don't have anything against drag queens its just that I'm searching for a solution not to look like a zombie while going out

Over 1000? Just for face products?... Don't get me wrong, it is pretty and everything... But that is a really ridiculous amount for makeup. I'm very impressed for those who can afford something that can be done with a couple drugstore brands.

You Can definitely recreate this with just drugstore brands! Or even cheaper than drugstore haha but the only difference is how it sets. High brand make up just tends to set better and longer than cheaper brands. It just looks more real and natural compared to the other ones. Just like in fashion. The fabric is better if you get what I mean. Though you always have some products from drugstore that are as equally good. And you don't spend that much money all in once. If you tend to love make up you probably have spend even more than that on your collection over the course of years.

My favorite look of all your makeup looks. I like how you use models with dark eyes and hair instead of the traditional blue eyes and blond hair.
