UPS tends to be more consistent with deliveries. Whenever I have issues with late or missing packages, it's usually a FedEx tracking number. Great review, as always, bro!
And it's the opposite for me. the past 3 years UPS has managed to not deliver 25, 45, 70# kettlebells, 20# club, 25# mace. They must have a nice breakroom by now.
89” is with the center chin up bar all the way up. It’s 6” shorter if you leave the center chin up bar off. Not sure if that measurement would have made a difference for you.
@@HomeGymHacksandReviews .....That might work. Ceiling is exactly 83", I may have to mod the top base to mount the pull-up bar section slightly lower (which would force me to cross my legs during the pullup) but I noticed there's a bit of a bend just below that bottom bolt. A local store has one in stock, so I'll go check it out.
I double checked for you, and if you leave the center pull-up bar off, the upper arm is 82.25” and the very back of the upper-middle support is 83 1/8. That could be cut an inch or so to fit and never effect the section where the upper arm connects to the middle support.
Hi Mr home gym Hacks and Reviews, my son is 12 years old and he is now 5 '9' and half height...which mean he still have some growing to do...would you suggest this power tower? I know powertec's products are quality but what do you think of this power tower for a tall person as my whole family 's tall...could you suggest a different one that's good quality if not the powertec?
Hi there. Yes, I would recommend this one. I don’t use it for pull-ups, but if I did, I would elevate the pull-up bar with blocks (I think I show that in this video…it not in this video, then the Powertec Assisted Pull-up / Dip machine video) and attach the Angles 90 Grips to the pull-up bar. Chances are, no matter what brand you get, if you’re relatively tall, you will need to do pull-ups with bent legs. I didn’t get this for pull-ups because I have my Power Rack Multi-Grip Bar. Rather, I got this for dips and the vertical knee raise, both of which it does perfectly for me.
One of those pieces I've stayed away from over the years but have always been interested in using more 🙁 Too big, generally have to go to a rig or a chin up bar on a functional trainer or something
I’ve wanted one for a while bc I liked using the captain’s chair feature so much when I was training in commercial gyms. It isn’t as big as I expected though as you can see it compared to the functional trainer and power rack in this video.
@@HomeGymHacksandReviews surprisingly the captains chair feature on the power towers at commercial gyms I trained at when I was younger was the only thing I could do without having my ROM restricted
I think this should have neutral grips, the piece which swings down should have more hand options. I have a Hot Gym which appeared in one of the Iron Man movies, sadly the creator has passed away and it's no longer available; th-cam.com/video/d7JrPqGmPpI/w-d-xo.html
Love the yellow stitching detail. Nice look! Now you're just showing off with the banded, weighted, feet elevated push-ups. 😆🙌🙌
💪 🤓
Thank you!
That was a really good review and great ideas with the power bands. Thank you.
Thanks so much.

@@tbx59 yeah, somebody from UPS has a nice collection by now lol
nice review. glad powertec hooked you up with the handle. they seem to have decent customer service..thanks
Thank you, Michael! Yeah, I’ve always been impressed with Powertec’s customer service.
FedEx suuuuucks. Coming from the Memphis area, that’s hard to say. But it needs to be said! Thanks for the look man!
lol! I would love for companies to give us a choice when ordering…I would choose UPS 100% of the time.
Really wanted this, but the 89" height kills it for me due to my ceiling. I had to go with something smaller.

Have you reviewed the Hoist Fitness power tower?
Sorry, I have not.
Good review my bro!!
Thank you! I appreciate you, LMZ Fitness!

what if I need i bit more power on the pushups?
I’m not sure what you mean. In the push up portion of this video, I show a lot of ways to increase the intensity of push-ups.

I would like a neutral grip too. The Angles90 work well and there are some newer grips I may get and try. I’ll check that out. Thank you.
