Like everyone else is saying, how you can just walk by this man and this music is beyond us all. A magical rendition of the perfect song - for any occasion.
Making people happy....that's what it's all about. I don't know where all these people are going, but I'd stay there all day to listen to this. One of my favorites. Thanks
Several years ago a famous musician set up his Piano in a NYC subway station. People walked by not paying attention. The same musician was starring in concert the next day at Carnegie Hall l
A great performance. A great musician. I'm old enough to have watched "Mr. Lucky" and heard the wonderful music of Henry Mancini. Brought back a lot of memories. Thank you Bro!!!
It pisses God off if there is the color purple in a field and you don't notice it--or in this case, if there is a thorougly awesome musician in the vicinity and you just walk on by. This is my favorite song of all time and oh boy does this man truly GET IT! There are those in life who are living a life of total amazement, and there are those who are missing it all.
LOVE IT!! This performance can't help but put a smile on your face, (that, or you ain't human.) My late cousin used to work with Mr. Mancini on occasion. I really appreciate this performance. Thank you, sir!
Good Lord, that is some mighty fine playing Mister Gail. The beginning with vibes and piano made me think of George Shearing. Those instrument voices sound great and what makes it even better is that you put that special touch that makes them sound even more convincing with trills and grace notes. If I didn't know this was being play on a keyboard, I'd swear it was a real band. As a musician myself, the only thing that upsets me watching this video is how all these people just pass without lending their ears to an awesome musician performing an awesome rendition of an awesome composition by a legendary composer. If I was there, I'd be sitting right there listening and applauding you. Keep that great music coming brother. Peace and blessings to you.
This performance in my opinion is more vibrating than the original Henry Mancini Orquestra with just a simple keyboard, amazing technology. Notice how ridiculous, every person that pass by don´t stop to listen to this man playing. People are getting sad, romance is fading away, I´ll keep alive as long as I live.
Regarding an indifferent crowd, all I can say is that there is no accounting for taste. I think some of the finest things often go unappreciated. Despite the original being before my time, I learned to appreciate the great Mancini as a little kid with the Pink Panther films. And as I developed an interest in jazz, "Mr. Lucky" would always grab my attention. I completely agree, too, that this interpretation is indeed an improvement over the original maestro! Quite an achievement!
I think you mean “ more vibrant” meaning more lively. Vibrating is a verbal noun (present particle= gerund) used as a nominative adjective referring to cyclical movement.
BRAVO!! You have done an extremely rare thing- made a keyboard with accompaniment patterns sound as fresh as a live band performance, both arranged on paper as well as the improvised solos, all with powerful dynamics - and a great mix! Extra credit for a portable setup that sounds great, too.
Nice job making that Tyros swing, Steven. I guess I''m going to have to check out your channel and see what else you've gotten now. You did a great job with this song.
It's a great tune - and you added to it. Understanding the voices on your keyboard has given you a headstart - but using them wisely takes more. Bravo!
That was very good and look like Santa Monica and nobody pay attention and Henry Mancini the 2nd., that was so beautiful, and thank you for downloading "for Me" people just got no rhythm for music Mr.Lucky
FRIGGIN' Amazing performance the only thing I missed was what you were going to do with Buddy Cole organ solo :) The thing that really makes this an interesting video is that everybody is just walking by completely ignoring Steven. He might as well had been a ghost. Idiots. Great job brother. Many thanks, Tod
it's a fake. this is just an orchestral/big band arrangement. the irregular "shake" of the trumpets gives it away. THAT can't be duplicated. if it was synthesized it would be regular, not irregular. also, his right hand is not matching the music, nor ir the left for that matter and the people are walking by without paying any attention, because there is nothing to be heard. ...just like it looks.
The number of people just walking by without realizing what they're hearing is disconcerting. Great work, sir.
One man band, great guy and very talented musician!!! 👍💯🌟😀
A fabulous musician.
Fantastic Steve Gail !!!!😮
I cannot believe everyone is just walking by. I would've sat right down and listened all day. This is one of my favorite songs by the way.
One of the COOLEST TUNES EVER! Cheers from Canada.
Its sad how this wonderful performance is so under appreciated by people passing by.
Most people dont appreciate what is really good. Only a minority. Unfortunate for this majority. This musician is VERY talented. 💯👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟❤️😉
Beautiful
Amazing talented man. 👏 👏

Wow! It brings back sweet memories of better times, when music there was class.

What donyou mean about the colour purple except it was a movie?
Great music. So lucky to have this song played. I would have stopped and listen to the song instead of walking by uninterested as if nothing happened.
Yeahhh! Fantastic rendition Steven!!🙏

So way totally cool on one of my favorite songs ever!!
Mine, too!!
Love it. Loved that theme when I was a kid.
Nice ... I've owned several Yamaha arrangers and workstations...even on genos the pianos are thin...but, brass, guitar, woodwinds are exceptional.
Great Jazz Rendition! Total respect....
Świetnie zagrałeś swingowo .Brawo.

Fabulous!! Wow!!
Channeling Basie through Mancini. I feel it . Awesome sir.
