At the beginning, I did not realize this was during the 'great pause' as Jennifer and her family called it....otherwise known to the rest of the world as the COVID Pandemic...and so I wondered why I was only seeing all these photos (great photos for sure) over and over again, while I could only hear voices and then I 'got it' and recognized each voice and each laugh and the phrases each of you used and it was delightful. After I studied the photos ENOUGH...I just closed my eyes and visualized you all in the same situation that we were all in, basically in a lock down situation where everything was delivered or you were brave enough to rush out to get this or that, all masked up and running home to wash your hands while you sang a song for 30 seconds and then you proceeded to wash the exterior of each and every item purchased(!) ....what a crazy time. What an awesome podcast...the 3 of them have such an amazing relationship and friendship and it's wonderful to hear them together and JB's voice is (SIIIGHHHHH) I could listen to her all day.
What I miss the most about the original tv show, it's the relatioship between all of you, both in funny and happy moments but also, in the sad ones, it transmitted a positive feelings of family relationship, even if not blood related, just, like in real life... knowing that, no matter what happened in your life, each of you had someone to turn and who would give you what you needed the most, a word, a hug, a ear that listen to you... I hope that if there is going to be a reboot of the show, this aspect will be the foundation of it, otherwise it will be a failure like it did genaratio Q... where they missed al the marks... thanks so much and good luck to all of you ;D

The storyline where Dana dies of cancer resonates with lesbians everywhere because everyone in the Community has had a close friend, lover or relative die from Cancer. Another great storyline was when Alice makes The Chart. And the chart is true. Everyone in a lesbian community is connected.

I love and respect Jennifer Beals and both of you as well but do you not see what’s happening to the show… Do you not see how the storyline for Bette and Tina and this whole thing with Pippa is pissing off thousands of fans who don’t even want to watch anymore… After the season ends if they are not in some kind of a cliffhanger… Loyal fans such as myself who invested time for six years from day one following the trials and tribulations of the staple couple of the show and finally after six years and despite a lot of flaws in the writing… They were getting married and going to New York and working things out then this comes back and it’s all over the place and they’re divorced and Bette is with someone else again now and Tina is getting remarried… The storylines are totally ridiculous and all over the place and I’m surprised that out of the three of you you don’t realize that?you don’t see that?… You don’t feel the difference between the original and this… This is catering tounder 25 or 30 year olds… The joke going around is did the writers even ever watch the OG… They’ve turned Bette into a toxic unlikable character when she was everyone’s favorite and although she was a lot the same she still had a funny nice edge to her… Now no… The only acceptable reason for her behavior would be because she’s so devastated that Tina is getting remarried… Which is again the most ridiculous storyline after they ended happily at the end of six years of the OG… It’s fine you wanted to discuss racism, But now you’re opening another can of worms that other types of bigotry on your show have never been addressed… And there are a lot of other types anti-Asian anti-Muslim anti-Semitism… But all of a sudden now everything‘s about one issue and a lot of people only want to see Bette away from Tina is because Tinas white… This is ridiculous… I don’t judge who someone’s with because of their color, I base it on who the person is not what they are…Your show is really going downhill… I hope I can get you guys to realize that even though it’s already wrapped for the year but you are going to lose a lot of viewers… On the path that it is going now… I mean I know Jennifer has said multiple times that she doesn’t even watch herself after it’s filmed, well maybe she should start watching the show or she didn’t even care what the majority of her viewers would think… You took what was the basis of the L word and is changing it into something totally different and the one couple that 80% of the people loved and continue to watch your show for are spinning in a soap opera fashion that’s not even anywhere realistic… For me, if Laurel Holloman decides to leave, I will always have the OG to watch… I would not consider watching it if she’s not part of the show… I miss her not being in every episode… She was a major part of the show and without her the storylines again to say all over the place is being kind…… I spent more time writing about the show because as a gay woman, I was very invested in it and it was wonderful to have a show that we could relate to but now it’s not relatable even the sex /love scenes, looks so choreographed and to me and so many people I’ve spoken to and so many comments hundreds of comments I’ve written people comment feeling the same but on the demographics that obviously they’re writing for at this point are happy with that… And for people that only want to see Pippa with Bette because Tinas white and that’s how they judge things…That’s really sad because Tina and Bette were the show and at least 80% of people will tell you that… I doubt any of you three will ever see this post, But for me I wanted to put it out there because I respected you three and we’re so excited that the show was coming back and still wish the best for it but it is going in a direction that it is not working for many people… Maybe you should start looking at comments on the shows posts…
Have u ever thought that some fans are just plain tired of seeing Bette and Tina breaking up and getting back. Plus there was the cheating and the physical abuse .it's time for each woman to move on with someone else. It's ok to still love and care for each ,to be in touch ,cause they share a child. They should be happy for each other ,whom ever that person is with. All I see and feel watching Bette and Tina is just pure sadness. I don't feel their love anymore.
