    You could get a great '70s punk rock bass sound with the pick and that extra gritty fret buzz you demonstrated. Thanks for the idea! By the way, every time I watch your videos, I feel like I'm watching a BBC documentary. Lol! I hope that's a good compliment.

    This is amazingly innovative and well thought out. From a performance standpoint it is a failsafe in the event band mates decide not to show up for the gig and for intentional solo work makes you decide which elements of the song are truly necessary versus what can be left out while still serving the song. Oddly the restriction can be the freedom and force creativity.

    Is there any reason that this will only work on a 3/4 scale guitar?

      It’s an odd one. By rights and by the laws of physics, this should work on a full scale guitar much better than a 3/4 scale. I still can’t work out why!
