He actually takes perfectly simple songs and changes them into near impossible for anyone else to sing. Nobody can sing a song after he did a cover. After that, it's HIS song. 😄
Like most of Kazakh people he speaks Russian fluently like a native, that's why it sounds so good. He comes to Riga on March 7th, but cheapest tickets that are left are 200EUR
@@HofTheStage Sorry to ruin it to you but not. He speaks Kazakh and Russian. He just recently startet soud relatively good in English. (Sorry Dears but its trure. In "Get up" you can just barely understanthim. Its cute though.) I dont know about Chinesse, i think he tries to learn it, but he himself said is too hard. He just sings in other languages. Yes, he studies songs and their meanings and he knows what they are about but thats about it.

His Get Up sounds great to me, i get the message and so what if there is a few dinglish i cant make out? It doesnt take away from the amazingness of the performance. The chinese dont make an issue of his weak chinese and still invite him to every Singer show since because people gravitate to him regardless. Only a minority for lack of better things to do like to pick on the 1 or 2 flaws out of 10 amazing things he does in each performinance. People gravitate to him not for the language he speaks but because of his positive attitude, his perseverance in learning his craft and genuine care for the listener.
He makes the song his own, this was a hit pop song in the 90's by A-Studio written by the piano player in the vid. I truly believe Dimash will be spoken of for generations to come for his contributions to music and the world. I've been around along time and no one has touched me the way he does, I only speak English but I understand everything he sings no matter what language, that's a gift.

Never mind any other singer trying to surpass Dimash, not gonna happen, but Dimash keeps surpassing himself with every month that goes by with every new song or event that comes out. I would say skys the limit for him....but even the sky is no limit for Dimash. He's only just begun
Well, maybe technically yes. His technique is outstanding, but creatively he still has a lot of work to do. And quality creative output is what makes an artist great, mere technical dexterity without creative genius is no much different than a cool party trick to impress your friends. But that's it.

NO one like him because no one uses vocal cry's and techniques regarding varying sound color to evoke such strong emotion in the listener regardless of a language barrier. No other singer can put this together. You underestimate his talent and his performances. Try to replicate it and you might begin to see.

Audience participation is a good way to get a connection with them and to get them invested in the event. Its fun. How many artists out there wrote a song at age 16 that is sung by thousands of audience members in every city he goes to regardless of their native language. How many songs do that? Who are you comparing him to? Who was better than him at his age? All he's done so far and he's currently taking his masters in composing.....you're bar is too high

I was thinking exactly, he was born to parents who lived through Kazakhstan being part of USSR where Russian language was required to be the primary language. Many places that were part of USSR are still fluent in Russian. (from Ukraine myself)

You should search his concert dates. He just started a European/Russian tour this winter actually just this past weekend. I know he’s going to be in Prague pretty soon maybe early to mid March. I hope you can go. My only regret is I couldn’t make his NYC concert back in December 😔

Dimash is like a sorcerer. You dont have any chance to escape his spell. Every sway of his body, every stroke of his hands every notes he utter caress you and take you on a journey. One time I thought I levitated and gone somewhere beyond while crying at the same time. At times I was stumping my feet on the floor so hard just to get out of that indescribable emotion... his voice is at times angelic and heavenly. Yeah the term is outerwordly. He just release a new song your love... i watched it about a dozen times before I stop crying. Some of us most emotional songs where autumn strong and daybreak but watch it in gloria wu channel for theres a story behind that will make you appreciate it more. Hello is sung with a twist... He is singing "day mne" it means give me. The band behind is A Studio, they were the original performers of this song, the keyboard player is the composer. Needless to say Dimash arranged it much differently from the original song. The yodelly singing was a Kazakh death chant I believe that women sing at funerals, the run at the end was all one breath, with runs for 22 seconds

He actually takes perfectly simple songs and changes them into near impossible for anyone else to sing. Nobody can sing a song after he did a cover. After that, it's HIS song. 😄

In "Get up" you can just barely understanthim. Its cute though.) I dont know about Chinesse, i think he tries to learn it, but he himself said is too hard.

His Get Up sounds great to me, i get the message and so what if there is a few dinglish i cant make out? It doesnt take away from the amazingness of the performance. The chinese dont make an issue of his weak chinese and still invite him to every Singer show since because people gravitate to him regardless. Only a minority for lack of better things to do like to pick on the 1 or 2 flaws out of 10 amazing things he does in each performinance. People gravitate to him not for the language he speaks but because of his positive attitude, his perseverance in learning his craft and genuine care for the listener.
He makes the song his own, this was a hit pop song in the 90's by A-Studio written by the piano player in the vid. I truly believe Dimash will be spoken of for generations to come for his contributions to music and the world. I've been around along time and no one has touched me the way he does, I only speak English but I understand everything he sings no matter what language, that's a gift.
I saw him in New York December 10. I would absolutely be honored to see him again if I can!! He is absolutely the best singer in the entire world!!! Thanks for a great reaction!!!! 💕

Never mind any other singer trying to surpass Dimash, not gonna happen, but Dimash keeps surpassing himself with every month that goes by with every new song or event that comes out. I would say skys the limit for him....but even the sky is no limit for Dimash. He's only just begun

And quality creative output is what makes an artist great, mere technical dexterity without creative genius is no much different than a cool party trick to impress your friends. But that's it.

NO one like him because no one uses vocal cry's and techniques regarding varying sound color to evoke such strong emotion in the listener regardless of a language barrier. No other singer can put this together. You underestimate his talent and his performances. Try to replicate it and you might begin to see.

I've listened to most of his original work, and from a musical (composition) and lyrical standpoint is very average. That's what I mean with creative genius, of course we both agree that vocally he is a technical master. But vocal technique isn't my point here.
@@bluebotlivingston6016 nah I disagree. Take Unforgettable Day for instance. It's a very pretty tune. Not derivative of anything else. And it's catchy and easily sung by the audience members. Audience participation is a good way to get a connection with them and to get them invested in the event. Its fun. How many artists out there wrote a song at age 16 that is sung by thousands of audience members in every city he goes to regardless of their native language. How many songs do that? Who are you comparing him to? Who was better than him at his age? All he's done so far and he's currently taking his masters in composing.....you're bar is too high

people from Kazakhstan are all fluent in Russian. For a long time, it was their main langage.
I was thinking exactly, he was born to parents who lived through Kazakhstan being part of USSR where Russian language was required to be the primary language. Many places that were part of USSR are still fluent in Russian. (from Ukraine myself)

You should search his concert dates. He just started a European/Russian tour this winter actually just this past weekend. I know he’s going to be in Prague pretty soon maybe early to mid March. I hope you can go. My only regret is I couldn’t make his NYC concert back in December 😔

Thank you for that reaction. You analyze it perfectly. And the reaction is epic. If you think this performance is excellent, then you haven't seen him live yet. Watching him live is beyond words. Dimash is like a sorcerer. You dont have any chance to escape his spell. Every sway of his body, every stroke of his hands every notes he utter caress you and take you on a journey. One time I thought I levitated and gone somewhere beyond while crying at the same time. At times I was stumping my feet on the floor so hard just to get out of that indescribable emotion... his voice is at times angelic and heavenly. Yeah the term is outerwordly.

He is singing "day mne" it means give me. The band behind is A Studio, they were the original performers of this song, the keyboard player is the composer. Needless to say Dimash arranged it much differently from the original song. The yodelly singing was a Kazakh death chant I believe that women sing at funerals, the run at the end was all one breath, with runs for 22 seconds
