How many of you plan on getting this Arcade1up pinball? How many of you are already enjoying this? Honestly never thought I would be enjoying it as much as I am. Drop a comment below.
I have had mine for a couple weeks now. How can I put this.... I like it and I hate it. Lets start with the likes. The cabinet is beautiful. The sound is very well done. That's about it for the positives. Now the dislikes. The haptic feedback even after turning everything up to high, is still only barely noticeable. The nudge feature is 100% useless. Its exactly unreliable. You can not count on it to go off at all. The screen at 720p is horrible compared to playing its same version on a 1080p computer monitor. On that same note, you only have about 60% of the playfield. On a computer its certainly very playable but on a 24inch monitor, I might as well have a giant magnifying glass over the entire table just to keep an eye on the ball. With the shrunken screen size and only utilizing about 60% of that shrunkin screen size, It makes the gameplay not very enjoyable. The washed out screen certainly doesn't help gameplay either. You also can not make any monitor adjustments at all. The selection of tables are OK but there were a few better tables that should have been on there. The flippers are on/off type flippers. You have no control of how hard or soft you want to hit the ball. Overall, I would not recommend this machine to a real pinball or virtual pinball enthusiast. After owning all these tables on the computer, this cabinet is a disappointment in many areas. Kids will love it though along with people that do not play virtual pinball much on the computer. I will give it props on trying. Again the sound is awesome, the cabinet is a piece of art, It just falls way short on to many items for me.
@@xDoomsdayx Agreed. Like I said in the video, this is not the real thing. Hell, even the arcade cabinets are not the real thing and has its flaws. I'm sure Arcade1up knows that though. I used to knock them back in the day until I understood their whole concept. Which is making affordable home arcades the best way possible. Took a while for me to respect and give them their props. Also your right, I do enjoy it because I'm not a big time pinball player. I'm all about arcade fighters majority of my life. Thanks for your honest opinion and thanks for watching bruh!
