Good tips. Here's a tip, if you take the screen and put the corner of the frame in between the inner and outer rungs of your ladder it will stay in place and easy to put in grab out. That's for the new guys who are running up and down ladders with screens all day.
very impressed with your pole work. 8 years experience window cleaning here in the UK. Ive never been in a situation where ive needed to learn how to do it, but defo a skill worth using as itll only take one time youll need to do it haha. have a great one, great video.
Great video SteveO, makes the time on my exercycle fly by. Couple ladder tips I haven't heard mentioned. Werner labels say the proper angle is 70 degrees. To find it, put your feet at the base and hold your hands out straight. It's approx. 70 degrees when the rung is right under your palms. And I wear "ladder bumpers" (soft knee pads for volleyball etc) under my pants. Makes ladder work much more secure and way less painful. Now, if I just had those mad pole skillz lol.
Great tips Man! Ladder safety is so important especially in the winter. I always use the standoffs as extra security too😁 Can’t help but feel for those people that lost every in the fires, devastating!!
Funny thing I've been picking up new commercial jobs this month it does get a little slow in January and February commercial jobs do help out this year is starting to get busy which is a good thing
Also another very important point about fanning vs straight pulling that I dont hear much about. Fanning looks superior and more professional. Customers thinking better of you is never a bad thing.
Love the channel bro 😎 starting to add window cleaning to our list of services because I kept getting asked if I did house and commercial windows so I am finally adding service now 😊 So first contract is a huge vehicle dealership with over a hundred windows after I wash shop floor there also and it’s contract work so now just gotta order all the equipment needed to do so, your channel really helped me in the right direction and I appreciate the videos and positivity you bring to our industry bro, great stuff!
Another great clip stevo! Suggestion yes you probably get a lot of them. Tie a spring clamp or peg to your ladder with some rope or cord to hold the flyscreens to your ladder whilst cleaning the window. I find it works great for mate 👍 🇦🇺
So sorry to hear about the fires and that so many people lost everything. I can’t even imagine. If you have a link where I could donate I would gladly do so.
Nice work man.. just started watching you and getting into window cleaning, solar panel cleaning etc. I live in PHX. Do you always use a bronze wool pad to clean as well?
It was warmer this day then I expected, I try not to wear gloves but if its in the teens or single digit temps then I always do. I ain't no tough guy lol

Yeah I live in Central Canada, gets cold AF. But same thing here, when it’s sunny out, that’s how you know it’s extremely cold 😂😂 no idea why

if you don't mind me asking what is your average income that you make each year or what should you expect with a good clientele?

How cold can it be and still wash windows? Asking from Canada.
You can clean down to -20 Fahrenheit
Steve 👍 from France 👍👍
How do you charge for ladder work; ie. When you has large windows on a high second floor house. You charge more?
I do not charge more unless its a large family room, usually large family room windows are $10-$15 in/out depending on size
Dang you brought Luke outta TH-cam retirement with this video! 😂

I think the clouds may hold in some heat.
Where u get those sick hoodies?!

It was warmer this day then I expected, I try not to wear gloves but if its in the teens or single digit temps then I always do. I ain't no tough guy lol
Now I don't feel so bad about my messy van....
As clean as it needs to be lol
I’m I’m Arizona, if I drove up to Colorado could I accompany you on a few jobs just get some hands on knowledge. I’d work for free.
I do not offer that right now unfortunately
Hey Steve, your squeegee was falling out at the beginning of the video, don't lose it!
hahahaha never leave a squeegee behind!
4:1 ratio on ladders
It’s not cold it’s only 30 out 😂😂
You learn to tolerate certain temps lol. 30 feels pretty damn nice when you do a few days below 10
