Hello, today we were installing a trailer hitch on my friends Leased 2019 Audi Q7. The dealership wanted $2000-2500 for this job because you have to replace the bumper s o it can fit the hitch. Well, I found a hack around that and did this job for under HALF of what the dealer wanted! Check it out in the video!

did your car have blind view monitor ? and if so after removing the rear bumper did you have to get that recalibrated ?

I really think you did a great job explaining it unfortunately I don't trust myself to do this correctly. Something might not snap back on properly and parts will fly off.

Hi. How did you solve the adapting of the electrics? So it deactivates the parking sensors when you put in reverse while towing?

Good question! I didn't, we just left it as is and ignore it on back up. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears 👂

Thats actually a new word for me🤣 Had to look up what 'palaver' mean't🤦‍♂️
Totally understandable if you prefer to pay the dealer. It is much more convenient. This happened to save my friend over $1500 so he decided to bring it to me for the job.
