Benidorm is located on the Costa Blanca, Spain. Famous for it's beaches, bars, restaurants, nightlife, entertainment, hotels, sightseeing, party atmosphere, excursions, tours and sun. It is not only one of the top holiday destinations in Spain but one of the best tourist hotspots in the whole of Europe. British and Irish tourists love to travel to Benidorm, being one of the best resorts for a package holiday, but it is also well loved by many European travellers, and of course the Spanish themselves. It is an all year round holiday resort, the good weather means there is something to offer visitors of all nationalities and ages, and you will always find things to do and places to go. The Don Pancho is absolutely fantastic , a group of us stayed their in August and the food , staff and facilities were second to none .
The Don Pancho was my late wife’s favourite hotel, she loved staying there and I have very fond memories.
I’ve stayed in many hotels in my career and must say that this is one of the best hotels in the world, it has everything!

I stayed in the Ambassador 1 last year and for my first time in benidorm, it was amazing. Hotel was beautiful and staff were so helpful! Would definitely stay again!
Another fab video Lucy, we love all of your videos, keeps us going until we can get back. We are Don Pancho lovers, only started coming to Benidorm in 2017 and will have stayed in Don Pancho 10 times by this April 😊. We did come in 1978 staying in Madeira hotel which I believe was knocked down and the new one built in the same place. You can imagine the changes in almost 40 years. Keep up the good work, you are thee No.1 Benidorm afficionado 👍👏👍👏
It's like choosing who is the greatest Ronaldo or Messi ? If you were given any one of these Hotels as an only option you would be more than happy...Service, Cleanliness, Food, Entertainment, Friendliness of Staff, all second to none....Long Live Benidorm.

Just back from 10 days at the sandos monaco, couldnt really fault it..but planning on another visit to benidorm soon, so its great to see a variety of reviews of other places to try..thank you!

100% agree. We have stayed at many hotels in Benidorm and the Don Pancho shines like a star in the night over the rest. From comfortable carpeted bedrooms with stunning views and a balcony that is a pure sun trap all year round. The food is 2nd to none, I take great pride with your friend and always ask you if everything is satisfactory and you even have champagne available every day for breakfast if you like that kind of thing. The staff are absolutely amazing and will go to great lengths to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The decor is spot-on. Definitely Benidorms number one Hotel in our book.
Great video Lucy. Loved watching it. Will try the Don Pancho one day. We stay at the Sol Pelicanos. It might not be the best but has the best pool. Great entertainment too.

Rio Park is a place I always fancied staying, will give it a go soon! We are in Benidorm at the moment and we like Terralta, quiet area and friendly staff.
The one at the bus station is really good great views nice steam room

Glad to see The Ambassador is there been many times since late 1990's, we took a very long break from spain back in 2003 and went back Benners and the Ambassador in Dec 2018 on our own as a couple no children with us this time lol and was like coming home some of the same staff were still there, rooms were basic but we only sleep in there so wasnt an issue and food was good staff fabulous , had the best 2weeks there weather was fab too went back in jan 2020 before covid , so going back again in sept this yr for 2 weeks and cant wait to see the refub in person .
The calypso is a brilliant hotel been a few times and booked up for two visits so far this year great food staff brilliant Christmas and new year excellent ❤

The Don Pancho Hotel is just so very clean, friendly helpful staff, great excellent comfy beds and great room size, comfortable sofas in the lounge., excellent quality food at all meals Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner I stayed at the Don Pancho Hotel last November 21st to 25th 2022. The room offered me from the 11th floor, pool view, mountain and sea views. An excellent video.
1982 we stayed in the hotel Reymar/riviera which is now the Ambassador 1/2 loved it then and now!

Been back to Benidorm in 1987 but unfortunately did not stay there as it was a lad’s holiday so too expensive

Well nice to here about these hotel s been in the 5 top spots.This will be my first time staying in a hotel in benidorm .i normaly stay on a villa sol .But looking for ward to staying in a hotal .keep safe and keep smiling

I stayed at a hotel near the showboat was great for me.loved it great place..
A'reyt Lucy. It is years since we went to some of these after my girlfriend's family had a house not far away, but we stayed in Venus whilst clearing the house when they left. It was also near the solicitor and bank and provided excellent meals, which saved us time. We were very well looked after and only wished it had been a proper holiday.
Stayed I the presendente before absolutely brilliant couldn’t get in this year going to the Venus hopefully it’s ok coming out for Cheltenham week hopefully going to meet you Lucy in the winners bar been watching your channel for ages now

Have stayed at all of those apart from The Presidente. We now always stay in The Don Pancho which is for us easily the best. Food excellent, staff great, rooms great. Central for Old, New Town and beach. Only slight moan is that the pool could be a bit bigger. We’ll be back!! Good vid Lucy😎

We've been there twice..its as a spotless hotel great staff location as well. The pool view rooms are highly recommended
Not stayed in any of them yet have the mercure benidrom hotel in the old town booked for 5 days in September and the sol Pelicanos booked for a week next march can't wait for both

Stayed at the Presidente last year. Fabulous hotel, couldn't fault it.
Ambassador was for me a regular visit glad to see it had high ratings
Stopped in these an once had a massive suite on the roof of the Don Pancho. Cost the earth but worth it. Coming next week but won’t be using any of these,,,, we will be in that one behind you.! Gold Arcos. Stunning.

Brillaint video Lucy, and you also featured one of the hotels me and the famiky stayed in back in 1979 - The Presidenti - which makes the top 3, how about that then! So agree,that Don Pancho….is the number 1 hotel…..only hotel I would go to.everyone is lovely.
A good video Lucy, We normally stay nearer the old town, but it's good to see these. The Rio Park was in a documentary series here in the UK and it looked like lots of repeat holiday makers there.
Just got back on Sunday to the UK from a week in the RH Victoria so I look forward to the old town hotels in the future. Went to the old town market and also El Cinse after Your recommendations They were great Thanks! BTW Did you or any of your viewers see the DOLPHINS on Lavante Beach on Saturday, They swam from the new town end up to Pontiente beach. Keep up the good work!
Some friends of mine from Madrid saw them! i was sooo jealous when they told me i literally have my eyes peeled every time im near the sea. Would be my dream to see them ❤️

Really should add Mercure Benidorm to the list, was a very dated 70's hotel called Benilux Park now completely refurbished during covid and a 4* plus. Gorgeous, funky, hip rooms, great bar and restaurant, really lovely outdoor space around a large pool. Just a short stroll from Poniente Beach but tucked away enough to be very chilled and quiet as you lay by the pool.
Is so good I would rather adjust my dates for my trip rather than go somewhere else !

We always stay at the Flamingo Oasis because we’ve always had a fab time. Might need to have a look at some of the ones on your list
we stayed many times servigroup Hotel Rialto*** and enjoyed hotel good food friendly staff
Castilla and hotel regente great hotels too to stay in and entertainment and staff friendly too
We stayed in the Don Pancho in November during the fiesta. It really was superb, our first ever visit to Benidorm & we struck gold. We will be back, loved Benidorm & we love the Hotel Don Pancho!
Pelicanos sol is a great hotel ,great entertainment and place to stay plenty to do there x
Well Lucy Don Pancho surprised me as I always think more Spanish stay there .But they do do a lovely afternoon tea outsiders welcome to eat there .

Hi David we stayed at the Pelicanos in 1975 bet it changed a lot now,we had no a/c and no fridge we used to go down to the bar to get ice lol,after that we stayed at the Pueblo that was in 1976,happy holidays to you we had fun in our younger day's🙏🇦🇺

So glad Riviera didn’t make the Top 5. Makes it easier for me requesting our usual room. Much preferred than the Don Pancho which is geared up for the more mature

Stayed in the Ambassador as well it was very nice clean and stuff was brilliant and I felt a lot safer at night going back to my room
I stayed there for first time last year it’s a lovely hotel drink prices at the pool bar where a joke though

The Don Pancho , was First class, could not fault it one bit, was there In August and the staff and entertainment was fantastic, and so was the food
Stayed in the Presidente for a few years but found they gave preference to the Spanish who only stayed at weekend,We moved to the Venus about 20 years ago and have never regretted it ,a great hotel.

@@philwanadoo7435 during winter months only a quarter of the rooms had a sunny balcony due to the hotel shape.for the years we stayed there these rooms were kept empty all week and given to coach loads of Spanish visitors on 2 day weekend breaks.wether this still applies I do not know as we moved to the venus at least 20 years ago.

Last time in Benidorm we stayed at Rosamar (pre refurbished). Fantastic hotel and location, couldn't fault anything. Guess it's different now.

Don Pancho fully deserves the number 1 spot. I stayed in the Ambassador Playa before it changed its name.Rimass Riviera springs to mind so no doubt I'm wrong.😂1st hotel I stayed in Benidorm was the Hotel Las Vegas in the old town.
My wife has been to Don Pancho a few times and says it is the nicest Hotel in Benidorm.

This was really interesting to watch and to see the results It would be brilliant if the hotels would let you into one of their empty rooms to do a room tour to show people the rooms as well as seeing the reception area and pool area and to know stuff like if the hotel is fully disabled friendly,see if they have laundry services , what entertainment is like ect I think it would help people choose the best hotel for them and give the hotels some great publicity as I know I would love to see this as I’m recently disabled and needing to use a Walker frame so long gone are the days of just picking any hotel n going I now need to know what services there are and how disabled friendly the hotel is and most of the time you don’t find most information in the brochure or their web pages it’s so frustrating.

Wow!!! Rio looks so different since the refurb! I've also been to Hotel Presidente back in 2018, just after the refurb and it was amazing! One of best hotels, I've ever stayed in. Food, Staff, Location etc... absolutely perfect! It was much cheaper to stay then but totally get why the price went up. Another hotel, I stayed in was Melia Benidorm. That hotel was just as amazing but food felt bit repetitive so we ended up just eating out instead. Trying Sol Pelicanos Ocas next year, hopefully it's just as good! 😊
Always the Don Pancho, but the Rio Park in April, full board and three weeks and cheaper.
