    Opening a 2nd front in Kursk when you’re desperate for troops & weapons goes against basic military strategy, especially when it’s helped Russia make recent gains on the Ukrainian front. Don’t believe history will be kind on this chess move.

      UA had to try acting not only reacting to RF initiative. Thus Kursk operation or other like it was necessary irrespectively of final outcome.

      the economic war is what is gonna decide who wins. russian rouble weakening as russian inflation rises despite interest rates being 19 percent. putin also used up his reserve fund and is printing roubles to finance his war now. means inflation will continue to rise.
      hyperinflation is why the ussr lost the afghan war and their economy callapsed.

      Whats this? 😮

    • @giovanni-ed7zq
      @giovanni-ed7zq 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      @@SkruffyTalez_TheWarzone well for putin the only thing keeping his economy afloat was his 300 billion dollar reserve fund. people said sanctions dont work but what it did was force putin to use up his reserve fund. after that governments have 2 options when they are sanctioned and cash flows are being cut off. get international capital loans which russia cant get, or start printing currency to fund the expenses.

    • @giovanni-ed7zq
      @giovanni-ed7zq 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@SkruffyTalez_TheWarzone there was i believe the wall street journal that estimated the war for russia was costing conservatively 300 million a day or 109 billion a year.
      now russian economy before sanctions was only 1.9 trillion a year gdp. factor in after sanctions companies left, and they started cutting off russian revenue. as well russia lost about 51 percent of their energy gdp to eu by pipeline they cant replace with 100 ships to india and china. so my guess is russian gdp likely 900 billion to 1 trillion now.
      their current war budget for 2025 is 130 billion.
      so what have we seen, well the russian economy seemed to be doing fine for about a year and a half with putin using his reserve fund. but then we saw the rouble weaken over 6 months from 50 to 1 usd to almost 100 to 1 usd. so why did this happen? well for one the russian central bank was artificially inflating the value of the rouble by buying it back and also through monetary policy forcing russians and russian companies to exchange their foreign currency to roubles. this worked for abou 18 months. then as the russian reserve started to be used up they couldnt buy back the roubles anymore. in addition putin had a revenue problem as the russian budget depends heavily on oil and gas revenue. and the war cost was getting bigger and bigger with every military aid package ukraine was getting. so with the revenue deficit putin started printing roubles to finance his war. now you can do this short term, but long term it has very bad consequences.

    • @giovanni-ed7zq
      @giovanni-ed7zq 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@SkruffyTalez_TheWarzone so putin started to print roubles to finance his war with his reserve fund being used up and the revenue deficit the russian budget had in paying for the expense of war and operating costs of running the country of russia.
      what it means is, by the law of economics and supply and demand. if supply is high and demand is low, then the value drops. but if the supply is low and the demand is high, then the value ries. its simple to understand.
      so if you create an over supply in a low demand global trade currency in the rouble by printing roubles to pay for the expense of the war. the value of the rouble will drop in value. when your currency drops in value, it becomes more expensive to buy things as your currency has less value, so inflation goes up.
      there is other inflationary pressures in russia like ukraine hitting their oil refineries and oil storage. this increases the domestic supply of gasoline and diesel which effects everything. in addition putins mobilization caused russians to flee russia in addition contract soldiers take workers off the labour market. this creates a shortage of workers and the companies and factories and the russian military is now competing with each other to get people. this causes wages to rise to keep workers. this is also inflationary pressure.

      nah see that russian inflation rising despite 19 percent interest rates. it doesnt care about your russian propaganda as it moves higher to hyperinflation and out of control hyperinflation. after that its back to a 1990 ussr moment.
