you know so far all of these guys reviewing and comparing these sets FAIL to let you know that carrera is the only one that offers the ghost car and if you race mostly by yourself this is the deal breaker.the best thing about carrera digital is this function yet everyone seems to ignore it.so if you race alone or only have friends over sometimes to race who wouldnt want to race against a ghost car or a couple of them way more fun than racing while holding on to 2 controllers or worse yet racing only 1 car .why no one ever sees this is funny beccause it makes carrera way better if you only race with others sometimes but want to race everyday even if no one is available .thats the coolest feature to me about digital racing pit game is ok but not as important to me.thanks for the video

Agree 100%, the ghost car feature is great for solo playing/training. I had no idea I could program ghost cars until recently. What a shame I am such a lazy goat and didn't read the full instruction manual.

I have question regarding the Lap Counter 30355 (you night have used it before going with the app-connect) There is a connection at the back, do you know what it is for? I have read the manual but there is no mention of it. Thanks.
MrMackanno, I use the app now and don't have that counter. I thought the connections on the counter were for the towers and PC unit 😬 I can;t tell you for suer because I don't have the unit with me. THanks for watching 👍

Hi Cad1900 ! The general rule is to get the largest sets you can. It also depends on what you can find on sale too. Just shop around and some sets go on sale after Christmas and New Years. It took me a while to choose Carrera... One of the reasons I got it it was for the price, options, availability, and how well the pace car/ghost feature works. I still think Carrera was the best option for me. Good Luck ! 👍👍

So I made the conclusion, that it is not alloved and that it has to do with that. Hello after a programme a car, and don’t have to retour to programming of spec to the factory... i don’t to change the speed How to deprograming a car ?
Hi Juan, watch this part 1:28 and see picture at 2:11 To stop it, you just have to press the lane change again. If you'd like to re-program it again to go at a different speed, just follow the programing steps in the video again with the speed you need. Thanks for watching 👍
I bought this set recently and tried the ghost racing but after I clicked the code button twice and the two red lights showed, I clicked the lane changer and nothing happened. Tried resetting but the two red lights remained on. Any advice?
Hi Samir, Not sure, did you try it with a different car? Also, try turning off everything, and do it again. Make sure you have only one car where I have mine. If you gave the same Carrera Digital car/track the light shoud turn on when you click on the "CODE" button. Thanks.
How do you remove/ deprogram the ghost car? Every time I put the ghost car on the track the power flashes on and off and the car moves forward in small increments.

I think once you program them you can stop everything and set them on the grid and start all of them together. 👍
If you have a ghost car, how do you start a race without the ghost car crashing into a car at the start line?
