Funky rhythmic scratches -- not just 10,000 click flares and crabs with no soul. Love it.

Finally a dope demo! I was at guitar center and they talked me out of ordering it... saying you can't do this or that...granted the unit is small... for what I need it for... I just need to scratch to fill my tracks already heavily produced. If it sounds like a legit scratch, it moves like a legit scratch and records as a legit scratch.. I'm sold. The thing is super cheap too. It makes the greatest lunch time at work freestyle sessions at the picnic table.

Great video! Thanks for sharing. I actually just picked up a Numark PT01 Scratch just over a week ago and now I'm on the hunt for some 7 inch scratch records. I'm also in the process of getting a Mixfader as an additional option over the scratch switch (at least until I get my hands on the Jesse Dean). I'm debating on getting either Practice Yo Cuts or Practice Yo Cuts meets Serato. Any thoughts? Currently have them both in my cart at ShopMegaDJ but can only grab one for now.

    I need your HELP! Swiftstyle!
So I have 2 nub question about this, I really want to get better at scratching and was wondering would a stock pt01 (scratch)switch be limited as far as what scratches can be done on it?
For example can I practice my 1 and 2 click flares on this? I hoping its just like a regular fader but just shortened? Will I have trouble progressing without upgrading the fader? I already bought one ;)
Also those cuts your doing are super fast?...What scratches are they, just really fast chirps, seems more complex than just fast chirps...srry for the dumb questions, but your video really is motivating! please explain ;)

I got this Numark PT01 I wonder if u can tell me if my fader on this turntable acting right, when scratching a 12inch album it don't make that sound here, what it does if i switch the fader to the right the sound of goes off meaning the music turn off but once i turn to left then u can hear the music. i got this turn table just to have something to do.

Just got mine from guitar center. Ordered the 7" scratch records. In meantime played with a 12" Frank Sinatra vinyl (lol) having issues with the needle/arm bumping off its place on the vinyl so that my cuts are compromised. I hope that's because I'm playing w 12" vinyl. Any concerns w needle jumping during cuts on the 7" vinyl?
