I remember when you did the big chop. To look at you mane now is amazing! So beautiful! And you are so rigjt...I straighten my hair for my birthday and I got all these compliments from certain people, but didn't get that when it was naturally coiled. Our hair is so versatile we can do what we want to do!

Your hair in this video is awesome. When I look at young black women and they have their natural hair like this, I am jealous. I think it is so beautiful. But, also I love to see short short hair as well.
I have had super straight hair all my life and it would not hold a curl. Now, my hair is grayer and wavy curly. So, I am trying to work with it and let it be what it is. I do not blow dry it at all.
We as women are looked at by our hair. I decided long ago that's it's mine. I will do what I want. I had it super short in the Spring and Summer and now I'm letting it grow out.
It's a woman thing...be who you are. That's all that matters.

I big chopped 2 years ago February and I have 4c hair so I'm still stuck in the TWA & still trying to get used to it I be missing my relaxed hair lol but love ur hair 💁🏾♀️

I hate straight hair especially heat damaged straight hair. It’s very scary to no longer have curls I did the big chop and I’m 4b 4c and 4a and I love my curls a lot.
