Your Lion King shirt is cute! I have too many pyjama days with my Ehlers Danlos and other health issues. Do your chooks ever turn into emus and kick your dunny down? I hear that's a serious issue in Australia.
😂😂😂 luckily I don't have a dunny cos that would make it hard with GP 😂 the chooks are pretty good they just eat, scratch and lay. We get great eggs from them ☺️
I make fries/chips that way, too! Have you tried making them out of sweet potato? They're orange or yellow on the inside, and have more nutrients and flavor. Sorry you ran out of energy. I run into that as well, with my health issues. Hoping that your doctors will give you a try on Mestinon to see if it works for you in addressing your gastroparesis, intestinal dysmotility, dysautonomia/POTS, and fatigue. I'm assuming that your gastroenterologist held off on Mestinon, since it could mask the symptoms that the cardiologist would be evaluating?
That sounds delicious 😋 unfortunately I can't have sweat potato because it doesn't sit well with me 😢 I unfortunately didn't get the chance to talk to my gastro about Mestinon. The appointment was more of a logging me into the system one and also checking my other possible diagnosises and referring me on to the Rheumatologist and Cardiologist who I am seeing in June. Then I see the gastro after that again to descuss treatment once we have all the proper diagnosises
What's your score on the Beighton hypermobility scale? I know you're going to see a specialist to be formally evaluated for Ehlers Danlos syndrome, but was curious what your Beighton score is.
I have two questions: 1). what helps your symptoms? The only things that helps me is Zofran (sometimes) and Medical Marijuana. 2). have you ever thought you were going to die? I've thrown up food the next morning on and off my entire life, but my family thought it was normal so I never went to the doctor for it until in 2019 (day after my 21st birthday), I had not eaten anything but I was throwing up bile, acid, and dry heaving for two entire weeks, I honestly thought that I was going to die. I lost 60 pounds in 2 months and then steadily another 40 pounds.
@@Hannah-ih1qj That's scary! Have they ever tried you on Mestinon to treat your gastroparesis and motility issues? That's the only medication that has helped mine. It's an old medication, but is a new treatment option for gastroparesis and other digestive motility issues.
Ok going to try this one more time. For some reason TH-cam keeps eating my comments. Congrats on the subscriber count! And yes totally with you on the hobby! It’s one of the best ways to deal with the grieving of chronic illness. My hobby is watercolor art, and just this past month I started posting them to sell on Redbubble! You’re welcome to check it out at Shannoncaeley.Redbubble.com. Also I checked out your earrings and they are gorgeous!!
That wasn't a dab - that was the cabbage patch! I didn't know you were so well-versed in old-school dance moves! You rock! :)
Aww thank you 🥰 You Rock!
I have a GJ tube, and it has helped me so so much!
That's so good to hear 😊 I have been working with my psychologist, talking through it so I can become more ok with the idea
Can always use an old hut, somewhere...to do your balloons 🎈. 🎈🎈⁉️
True that 😃

Do you have issues with sleep because of gastroparesis? And if so what is your go to method to dealing with that?

What have been some of the hardest mental battles you have faced on your GP journey? And how have you processed and coped with them?

Hi. I was wondering if you have the condition EDS?
She is getting evaluated for it soon! There's a good chance that she might have it.
I have the hypermobile type of EDS.
Hey Darlene
Yes I am getting it checked out with the rheumatologist, I should know whether I do or not by the end of July ☺️
