- Ok so I wanted to do something a little different with this motovlog - I want to be more personable around my motorcycle lifestyle so have decided to share with you parts of my life around the edges of riding!
I also throw in my thoughts, opinions and experiences on the reliability of my 2020 Triumph Street Triple 765 RS

I don't understand why you would sell that bike when it's the best Middle weight naked bike imo. You can only go so fast on public roads, a bigger bike makes no sense to me, that bike is a gem!
I love my Street honestly!! and I may just keep it who knows.... however I do want to own and ride other bikes too so it makes it difficult for me

Really enjoying your up and coming channel. I as well live in a very rainy part of the world and the thought of not riding my new 890 duke r this first winter is quite depressing. Literally having anxiety over it because for me riding in the rain is not fun either!

Suggestions mate if your taking them. Sell the triple, if you want to stay on a naked go for a 2020 superduke R or go with the V2 if you can get your insurance down from last time. Both bikes would do epic things for your channel especially when you can handle the bike more 🤷🏻✌🏻

I've had the screen go fuzzy like yours once too. Ride to work without issues. Then when i turned on the bike to go home the screen was all fuzzy. It turned back to normal after like 5 miles just before i got home. Never happend again yet.
It is a strange fault and it is common too...
Love it. Yes why not expand your videos. It works well for Freddie Dobbs, Bunny King Hogs, Missenden Flyer and many others.

One thing I'd say works really well is the approach 'gsxfox' takes to moto vlogging, just the silent orator showing you some life + motorbikes. In my opinion that's probably toppers.

p.s. My best mate rides a 765 rs and has been permanently looking for an SC Projects system. If you do sell, give us a shout!

Mixing it up bro 👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. Always enjoy a B.O.R upload and sorry im a little late to the party but ive been away to Anglesey for the week with fam so not been on TH-cam. IMO Triumph are very much a premium bike i know my old 13 Daytona 675R was beautifully put together to with top end parts and just to add was 💯 faultless for the 2 and a bit years i had it. Keep grinding bro 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
You know I am trying to think of logo's and BOR was a possible to incorporate into that logo.... but liking B.O.R too!! Hope you had a good time with the family no doubt was special. Important to spend quality time with them. Roll on the motogp later 😎
I have had every bike under the sun and triumph is up there with build quality Bmw have went right down hill with there gen 4 s1000rr m sport I had it last season was a rapid bike but just fell to bits
Was it back and forth under warranty then?

Me it was a characteristic of the bike lol then it sheared an engine bolt and the whole right hand grip and buttons came off in my hand at the hairpin at knockhill and the gave me a refund
whats your gear-up ritual? lol everyones got one, whats your habits before you hop on the bike? certain things need to be in just right order?
I literally always force myself to go to the toilet... even if it's a dribble! Hate needing to go when I am out and about 🤣
I love how you mention at the beginning of the video about being health conscious and then proceed to eat pizza and cake at the end. That made me laugh slightly :) not judging BTW.

Just upgraded from a ninja 400 to street triple 765 RS, no sure if this is because it's a bigger bike, have you ever feel that heat blasting your ankle? I feel that quite often especially running in town even the weather is not hot but the temp gauge shows normal and did notice that the coolant is at low.
Cannot say I ever really feel the heat from the engine to be honest

Good observation yes not 100% but it's definitely getting better
I had for of this bike from 2018 although one of the was stolen. I've ride it all year round summer and winter. Quality of parts out side are excellent for those sh***y winter roads.
But the last one i have developed some kind of turning off by itself in junction. They couldn't fix it after a year so i just changed it with tiger 900 gt pro which I'm getting next week.and i know at the moment in this market the only bike will change it with would be street triple rs .
There is no bike better than rs for every day use and fun out there.
You have to know every day using a bike is different with weekends warrior.
So if you want to buy one believe me you get so much fun you don't even care if bike is pink colour 😉😜😉😜👊👊

4 minutes in and I haven't gotten what I came for, information on the state of your bike. I don't dislike the personal additions, but could you cover the topic at hand early and/or let me know when to skip to? I'd love to watch the whole thing, but I'm busy and now I just feel like I've been click baited with a scary title/thumbnail.

thanks for the feedback it will take me some experience to learn how best to approach this. Unfortunately that's the way with TH-cam I need something to entice people in to view but at the same time need to do my job in keeping people watching long enough
@@BikesofRye I had a 2018 R that was lemon law'd for all its clutch issues, and then the replacement came with a rusty tank and a leak. Now I'm on a 2020 RS that had another oil leak, seeing the title got me shaking in my booties.
Haha the thing with the tft happened to me too. One day after i got the bike from the dealership. 😡 The screen just froze and I had to take off the battetie to get it running again 🙄

Did you have the display replaced?
No not yet. Since it was the first day after i got it from the dealer i didn t return. But sure as hell i called them to let them know and also to ask them if it s ok for me to take out the battery because of the warranty.
I will go there after my brake in in +- 3 weeks i have pictures and everything so I can "prove" that it happened.
@BikesofRye How is the bike now ? 2 more years down the line ... has to started to show its age ? Is it a bike that i can keep for 10 plus years and maintain its reliability .
I think with 130RWHP you might well be able to sell it with the modifications on. Just a feeling. Those headers really make it howl!!
For sure will sell it with the mods but I wouldn't get the money id like.... basically modifications doesn't increase the value of the bike
@@BikesofRye Usually 100% true, but 130bhp at the rear wheel??? That might just find some takers? But you'd probably make more money by returning it to standard and selling the headers separately. Point taken.

I had a 675 which was 100% reliable. My 2018 765 was nothing but trouble so my experience was reliability is bad and i wouldnt buy another of this brand. Now on a z900RS. much happier 😄

I’ve got the learner approved 2020 Street Triple. Get my full license soon, should I upgrade to a Street Triple RS or a Superduke?
Two different bike so know
Super Duke as a first big bike would be lethal 😂 the rs is a great bike if you fancy an upgrade
@@lewisclimbs you’re right bro, the RS makes much more sense. However, I’ve been riding around on my brothers 2019 Superduke a bit, I’m in love with the sound, and it’s a lot less “I wanna kill you” than I thought. But no where close to the Street Triples telekinetic handling
@@mpt117 😂 Well in that case super Duke it is and hang on for the ride! I've got the rs and it's a wicked do it all bike. Fast on road, great commuter, done loads 2 up and some shorter tours too. The rs was my first big bike, feels like I've got some growing room with it too, eyes on a super duke next maybe 👀
I am personally very keen on the thought of owning a superduke R but I still am not sure I should jump from the RS to that yet.... It is a monster of an engine compared to the STRS. My advise is stick with the STRS
@@BikesofRye I think a jump that big would stunt my learning, and skill level. I'll just be too scared of the power to take advantage of its handling. If its too much of a jump for you, its definitely too much for me.

i had a 2011 triumph street triple and i put about 1500 £ on repairs in 1 year , but it could be just that bike , that put me off triumph .
What do you ride now?

Haven't ridden the Ducati Monster. Mate of mine has one on order taking delivery March so will look to have a go
I have had some time on both..here is my take on the 765RS vs M821
765RS: More agile and compact a bit toyish, not in quality but in size (Im 175cm). It is more nimble for turns.
Need to rev it more on the highway, that great triple whistling sound is gone on highway.
M821: More torque down low, more raw, meaning 765rs is more refined, that could be good or bad depending on your preference. You can really feel it after a long day ride, the rumble of monster is special. 821 pulls harder than 765rs down low, and has a dead spot right before 7 to 8000 rpm. Post 8000rpm its like a rocket. The 765rs pulls more linear and predictable and as long as the revs are there it feels like it can pull and pull forever.
I went with the monster but loves the 765rs just as much. Components are better on 765rs.
