Massive respect for your incredible dedication for your channel, taken into consideration that you are an airline pilot that has a tight schedule. Once again, hats off, massive respect!
The behavior shown at 35:15 is correct per the real unit. This seems inconvenient but there is actually a function called 'Resume Flight Plan' that will appear on the Direct-To page next to 'Activate' when on an offroute direct-to which will pull the flight plan you had before, back. The feature is not implemented at the moment but I believe this will be added at some point in the future.
Thanks for the video! I don't participate in the betas, so I was very interested in seeing the new G3X in action. Looks great already, and is probably going to get even better and more complete. This really is a game changer for a lot of small planes in the sim that were held back by the old G3X implementation.
Really like the Ruhr area (at least in flight) thus after your video i went and did a flight even without the SU15. I did that flight in the DA40 NG and with that mod from Barometrix it really looked good! Hope that they do add more features in the future to make those avionics even better! Great video btw!
I use the G3X IRL and I didn't even use it previously because it wasn't even remotely close to the real thing, but now it is amazing! Working Title does an amazing job.
I'm curious about the startup behavior. Shouldn't the PFD (left side) power on when you switch on the Master? Most (if not all) other Garmin products IRL will power on when you switch on the Master (especially if EIS is the only way to monitor engine parameters).
Really nice update, it now starts to look like something. It doesn’t remove your flight plan if you enter an off route direct IRL 35:30, it does like if you use the OBS fcnt. Hope to fly the B23 better now. Waiting for some dev to do an Elixir Aircraft ! (As far as I know, it think it can do IFR if not used as a standalone avionic, the Elixir aims to be IFR ready with 2 G3X and a GTN750)
Elixir? I doubt. There are enogh LSA in MSFS by now. I also doubt that they sell well. This Is the turboprops year! PC12, TBM 850, P500 ... try tge ORBX Blackwing, not bad at all.
@@antonioiozzi291 The Elixir is not a LSA. It's Part/CS-23, you can do your PPL and ur IR training on it (I think that only the 140hp 915 version will be IFR certified). It performs like a VL3 but not in the same category. It's like flying a cessna, robin, piper. 685kg MTOW for the 100hp variant (
Love the new avionics. My only issue right now and it's kind of a big one. I seem to have lost the trim indicator which use to be just left of the HSI. Anybody figure this out?
The highlight of this flight for me was the aerial tour, the g3x was second priority lol. That was beautiful. Thanks very much for that. Makes me want to sim more in Europe (North America-based simmer here). I sometimes like to fly following real world airspace rules though. Is there a good free source for European vfr charts?
For enroute charts I can very much recommend open flightmaps, they have superb material. One big difference between Europe and North America is that over here most airports have laterally defined traffic patterns contrary to the "choose it yourself" approach in North America. So you need airport charts as well. The good news however is that all national air traffic service providers are legally required to publish them for free. Google will quickly bring you the links. Here's the one for Germany for instance: aip.dfs.de/basicAIP/
I had a perfectly good sim then Microsoft decided to treat me to a update and now its juddering stuttering mess. Thanks MS. But strangely only in the south of England.

I've used the G3X IRL in my brother's Sling TSI. Super nice avionics!
Always Awesome to see a Real Pilot doing Reviews again Thank You

same as taws, when you fly unpredictable or low vis weather, synthetic really helpful... sure if not fly by rails of vors ndb and stuff like that.
Will some of the COWANSIM helicopters include the new G3X ?
Nice to see improvements on the G3X becsuse it is largely used in many free or pay add ones. Even that airport is wonderful.😀

@@Romain_Ivnthanks, yes I know, I have used a very generic term for the simmers world. I am also a real pilot (SPL+TMG) .

Why not have ndb atf vor navigation and procedures of approach?

Im welchen Jahr hattest du deine Lizenz hier im Pott gemacht?

Moin, das muss 2014 für die Private und 2017 für die Kommerzielle gewesen sein.

@@A330DriverThanks so much. That's a good place to start for flying vfr in Europe. Please share any other tips you may have. Very much appreciated.
Does TH-cam differentiate between phones and tablets when it says mobile?
Yes, it does

Dear Emmanuel:
Will G3X be updated in this update in Beechcraft King Air 350i?
I would expect so
Really excited for the G3X, like in the RV-14, S4 and in the Cowan Helis?
So am I, the ORBX Blackwing is quite a promising plane as well! I really hope developers will be quick to integrate their avionics!
Thanks for the video! How is the performance, stutters etc?
I'm seeing no difference to what I had before.
For mid to lower end systems performance is way better than it was on SU14 - especially the multi second long freezes are gone.
Is this the default aircraft? Or is there a realism mod for it?
That's all default
@@A330Driver nice! Looks a nice comfortable little aircraft
No kingAir350i ...Orz
Maybe in a future beta...
Could you write the ICAO of the airport please?

I don't seem to have gotten the update yet. I'm still on 1.36.2.0 and you're on 1.37.2.0
Are you in the open beta program? It's beta as the title says
