Walter when ur done with all the albums you can check out the bootleg gizzard spotify releases. There's a couple bangers in there and I'm honestly kinda scared of checking the whole discography out solo
@@walterooskiAlso, in addition to being on Spotify, all of their 2024 live performances have been uploaded with pro-shot footage in 4k quality with amazing sound quality on their TH-cam channel. They’ve performed some of their most amazing ever concerts this year, you’ve gotta watch some! Some of their best this year are The Gorge, Chicago, and New York City! (Those are all long marathon sets though haha so strap in)
finally, been waiting for this one. pmdb is essential flavour that I feel like a lot of ppl pass over in gizz' discography. It's one of the top 3 favourite of their albums for me.
This is the second album I ever heard of this band. My buddy sends me a random bandcamp link in 2017 for Nonagon, I dig it. I put this one on next and just fell in absolute love with the band. Just days afterwards they drop Polygon. What a fucking year for me.
This album is of Beatles quality it’s possibly my favorite by them. The song sense literally impregnates you once the saxophone starts I think quarters was the first one I heard in 2015 that turned me into a fan and I think this one came shortly after.
Just hit the point in the video where you declared this album S-Tier, you're so right! Similar to your experience, by chance my first exposure to this band was randomly listening to Bone with no other context. I also thought these guys were just some random folk band until i heard Nonagon Infinity a few months later... I never really gravitated to folk songwriting, but this album is filled with undeniable bangers that have since given me a refreshed appreciation for this style of music. Anyway, all that rambling is to say that PMDB is top-tier Gizz, keep floating down the river!
So I love this album and I was listening to it at work the other day and when dirt came on some random clean cut nurse came up to me and was like what is this song. I must know it
WOW it's awsome to hear that you're a fan of The Decemberists. Instead of having five bands do it, it was just them that reaaaaally opened up my musical tastes when i was younger. You have some great taste.
I wouldn't put this album as S-tier for me just b/c sometimes I love and sometimes I am not in the mood for songs like trapdoor, cold cadaver, bitter boogie and the two time songs. This album is also kind of morbid but still good. I prefer Sketches to this album personally.
Not related to the album, but you should check out the DJ Shadow remix of “Black hot soup” the video is a little weird but no where near as weird as the other videos for Butterfly 3000.
Is your roommate Badger from Breaking Bad?
Nice reaction! This is one of my top 3 favorite albums of KGLW.
Couldnt agree with you more
"Eric Moore - nothing"
😂
And he does it better than anything else.
Now that you’ve heard every song that shows up in it, you have to react to Murder of the Nonagon Fuzz!

The good news is that this was actually sorta the natural progression Gizzday was taking anyways! Live performances and bootlegs!
@ amazing, cheers and keep up the good work!!
@@walterooskiyou gotta listen to the demos. Some real sleepers on those. Keep it up buddy!

And also their 2023 acoustic show in the Caverns is peak as well, if you can find that!
Paper Mache Dream Balloon always makes me smile. The sound is so sweet and soft.

a darnit missed the stream, this album is one of my top gizz picks
This and Fishing For Fishies the best to introduce folks to Gizz
This is definitely one of my personal favorite albums.
need to do a gizz album tier list and opener tier list once you’ve done all the albums

After listening to this, I highly recommend Murder of the Nonagon Fuzz now that you have completed all the songs included in it!
Bitter Boogie and Plastic Boogie are my favorite of the Boogies

Perfect album if you ask me

Bitter Boogie for the win!
Predicting he declares S-tier during the title track
LOL

I had a music teacher that hated two bands more than anything, Nickelback and The Beatles.
Your music teacher had awful taste.

Cookie sounds like Syd Barrett to me especially on this. Gives me Emily Plays vibes.
Favorite Boogie is Man Sam. Bitter is 2.
