Loooooove this band! SUCH cool breaks and drumming parts, always a ton of fun doing a Yellowcard song. I only found out afterwards, when I started editing, that there was this one fill that I played a TONNN of times in this song, haha, so excuse the repetiveness :)

The fact cobus is the best, is he puts his own twists into these things, and drums, not to look good, but for fun, which is what alot of people forget these days.
One reason is his attitude and how he is a really cool guy who doesn't go around telling people he is better than them

And Linkin Park is a band you can play live and they have songs that are heavily influenced by rap, hip-hop and even a bit of reggae.

Slayer DUDE I'd like to disagree. I'm not a hip hop/rap listener, so I don't understand those genres very much, but I think that some hip hop or rap songs are VERY groovy and live playing to those song can be as great as this video. :)

You do realize that this is a DRUM video right? Cobus has proven with the videos where he jams with bands that he plays differently based on the purpose of the drums. These Drum videos are mainly to showcase his talent and be entertaining to the viewer. Cobus is one of the best drummers I know of that has such a great grasp on how a drumkit can affect music and even in his drum videos without a band he only does what flows well with the song and how the song builds.

I swear, the more I watch these videos the more I want to learn how to play the drums. However I'm not fast nor have the rythem to do so. Anyways. I'm addicted to watching these. I enjoy hearing the drums, I know some people are going to say I'm crazy...But Cobus is better then Travis Barker in some aspects...and I'm a huge fan of Travis myself. Keep on playing dude!
