A Very Famous place to visit in India is Agra for the Taj Mahal.But along with that the place is famous equally for the sweet called Agra petha made from Ash gourd.The ash gourd is cut into equal sizes and soaked in slaked lime water or chuna in hindi.Sunambu in Tamil.Then washed and rinsed thoroughly and pat dried.Then it is boiled in sugar syrup and left to soak the same.Again after some time it is made dry coated with sugar powder to look like delicious candy.The lauki or ash gourd is tasty if made like this.
