As always, a gorgeous penpal video 💙❄️ I have learnt that using wax beads melted in a special spoon over a tea light works much better than the sealing wax candle... they don't melt quickly enough. There are small 'stands' available for the spoons and the spoon has a lip/spout for pouring the wax (so far I've only seen these for right handed pouring) you can make several seals on a tile or plate and choose the best ones for letters 😊 be warned... it's addictive 😂
Yeah, that’s the way I’ve seen them used too☺️ But in this case it wasn’t possible because you wouldn’t be able to fold it on the inside of the folder, so it wouldn’t be able to close or open it haha!
Your wax seal is perfectly good and really nice. You don't need to make disclaimers :). With wax all the trouble is a bit of practice with were to put the stamp for wax to pour out in all/most directions and how hard push the stamp. I think with few more yours will be perfect(ly imperfect).
In the UK we call them split pins - I love using them because they remind of school! 😊 I tend to have the rounded edge on the front and put a wax seal over the flat edges. ✨🤩
Sooo adorable 🦉 ❄️ ❤ ( quick question- does the wax seal not cause problems with post office ? Just imagining the super cranky postal workers here in New York giving me an eye roll loll)
Thank you! Since you mention New York - I know that USPS sometimes charge extra for mail that has wax seals on them because they might need to be sorted by hand. This letter was sent from Norway, and there isn’t a rule like that with our postal service☺️
hey, if you are struggeling with wax seals try to use a little spoon an wax pallets. (Hope I wrote this correctly and thats what they are called.) You can find them for quite cheap on aliexpress for example and they work great! You can also mix colors and everything:)
Nydelig! ❤️
What shade / palette set is your green Tombow brush pen?! (that you wrote Sasha with) Also I love the art style for this letter - it turned out so beautiful + so relaxing and inspiring to watch!
The metal fastener you used is called a "brad" or "fastener" or combined "brad fastener." I always called it a brad, but all the are the same item/ name. Keep up the great work. I love your videos.
ooh that's interesting! i can't say i've ever heard it be called that- in my part of the world (Eastern Australia) we call them "Split Pins". that's really cool!

With the fasteners, l used them as a kid and usually the 'head' was for the front and the 'legs' would be on the back.

At 13:43 the top of the page says "zemlja se prebuja" which means "earth is waking up" which is a funny coincidence since this is winter themed
funny I understand that okay as well (but from studying Ukrainian actually) so maybe Sasha will really enjoy that too! thanks for pointing out!
The gold things are called split pins I think! Love your penpal videos!
I’ve known them as butterfly clips and also as brads. Split pin is new to me. 😊
I call them brads (AZ USA) never heard of any other name for them

Hi! Oh, good question...I don't have the marker with me at the moment, so I couldn't tell you for sure, but most likely 192 :)
@@mochibujo awesome, thank you❤

I’ve always heard them called prongs! It’s cool to learn what other names they have too 😊
I'm in Texas but lived in midwest US when I was young. That was where I was taught the name.
