8:50 True or False? This statement is grammatically correct: “I don’t know who’s book this is.” It is FALSE because of an error they did not mention: The dangling participle at the end. It should read: “I don’t know whose book is this.” Many people forget about dangling participles! Like when someone is talking about something about which you’re not comprehending, your question should be, “About what are you talking?” NOT - “What are you talking about?” THIS question contains a Dangling Participle!
Yeah that’s unfortunate that she burned up her save and her two cheats very early and went home empty handed. She does have great sense of humor though.
Bit of a problem internationally with the ton question: an imperial ton is 2240 lbs, a metric tonne is 1,000 kg = about 2,200 lbs, and a U.S. ton is 2,000 lbs.
yeah i challenge this questions accuracy. i would have answered 2,200 although 2204.62 is correct. 1 ton is 1000 kilograms. And 1kg = about 2.2lbs. So like measurements thats 2.2*1000 which is 2,200 2.20462 is the exact lbs in a kilogram so 2205 would also be correct. Would they have accepted 2000? 2204 or 2205? How about 2240 (british)? lots of problems if they wouldnt
37:18 Jeff: (after reading the question) Good night everybody.

"Is" is a verb, is it not? So how can it be a participle?

These are the easiest questions I've ever seen on this show.
I can't imagine anybody not knowing George Washington's wife's name
I didn’t!
The crazier thing is Washington is his last name.

Felt kind of sorry for Wendy
English is spoken by 80% of the population in Australia, but Australia doesn't have an official language. This program didn't do their research!
Yup. English is the national language of Australia, but not the official.
Could Whitney be related to Cher? Look at her facial features. Do not consider her brain.
I think that Whitney could be the worst contestant to ever appear on this show.
all black frat. all black college. I applied to Spelman and was denied because I am white. DISCRIMANATION
no i think its because you cant even spell discrimination right
Thought that stuff ended like 60 years ago lol
I thought he said USC not Spelman
Seems weird seeing an all black fraternity though, aren't fraternities supposedly racist so what gives.
We all know racism only goes one way
