I had an 87 Mustang Hatchback 4-cylinder five speed.I think sometimes I could get over 60 miles per gallon. Especially on the highway trips drafting semi's 🚛 🚕.

Nice! Today it seems to be all about muscle with Mustangs. Even with the electric version which seems wastesful and counterproductive. The manual transmissions were great. You could coast to stops with the engine off then pop the clutch to start. Now some cars do it automatically. I've also done some drafting of semis in my Ford Festiva for some great MPG. Be safe!

Good overview coverage, once again. I thought the 65 Fairlane seemed well-bought @$1500. Was that a 390? Also, that 33,000 mi 04 Lincoln Town Car seemed pretty well-bought assuming clean title. They are great. The blue 89 Mustang was ok as well @ $5500. Seemed honestly preserved. “Buyer 100” online smartly won about a 1/3rd of lots.
