They didn't HAVE to compete with other sport bikes, they basically cut off a whole generation of potential buyers that wanted something more sporty and not a cruiser type bike which was a dumb move. Every time they tried to appeal to a younger generation they flopped

Harley Davidson's decision to kill off the Buell line was short sighted and DUMB. 🤦😑
I think it was the right decision, cz we gotta admit that buell couldn't compete with other sport bike and that doesn't mean that Buell sucks.
