I would predict very soon (in the next few years) there is going to be a shift in people wanting their sedans and hatchbacks and wagons back. Current SUV's are just too damn expensive.
I ordered this exact configuration in the suburban model, with the 3.0l duramax (averaging 32mpg amazing!) back in 2021 and finally received it July of 2022. For those curious I opted out on the tv’s, sun roof and 4wd. Instead I got the duramax, captain seating and all around cameras. My Msrp was $67k in ca with no mark up, before taxes of course
Just put the deposit down on a black Tahoe RST today! What a sweet rig… trading in my Pacifica for it, which has been great. Miss driving a truck though and need to haul the family, Tahoe reigns here.
The real shame is at this price point RST doesn't even OFFER cooled seats. At least you can finally get the adaptive cruise, but RST should offer the full suite of features from Premier. Ford offers these features on Expedition Limited Stealth, GM should as well. Big miss there, it's beyond a zonk.
Agree with you on the zonks. The lack of ventilated seats, front facing + panoramic camera for a vehicle this size and the 70k+ pricing is a huge miss. Also would like to see better integration of the infotainment system into the center console, the new Silverado + Sierra does a much better job with the flow and design.
Don't forget that adaptive cruise isn't available either. Absolutely insane the choices Chevy made with their flagship SUV as far as available options on each trim level

I owned a 2006 Tahoe 2LT and drove it 10 years as my company car. I put 210,000 miles and turned it over to the driver training team who used it to 290,000. I loved that truck.
I'm really digging what GM did with the full size SUV and truck brands. The RST name adds some spice with looks, handling, and performance. No more column shift but the Tahoe/Suburban tail lights could use an update. Happy New Year to Raiti's Rides and Hamilton is a great show!👍👍

I am also still driving my 22 year-old Tahoe! I absolutely love that car. Agree with you - it is the best vehicle I have ever owned. My husband is always after me to get a new Tahoe, but I have never had a problem with this one in 22 years and it would drive right up the side of a mountain if I asked it to. Still not even rusting and I live in northern Minnesota with real winters.

I think it must be just missing that package because I have a 2021RST and mine does not have the power assist rear seats. I also was told by my dealer that some of the options were being dropped for 2023 because of the chip shortage. I'm not sure how true that is though. I thought it was part of a luxury package or something on my 2015 and 2017 model. Also, I believe the surround vision is also an option, but maybe that's on the premiere. I do agree though for the price point this vehicle is it should have full LED in the tail lights.
The car market seem be getting for the new year what is sad a lot manufacturers cutting corners deleting fog lights, LEDS and heated steering wheel etc. This Tahoe is beautiful love the color and looks as much like Wagoneer and Expedition would get the Tahoe although under $70 grand wouldn't be able get the features and options for trim package would purchase for the money. I am beginning go back to loving GM, Ford and Jeep and Ram trucks all over again been car enthusiastic for many years grew up on GM Brands mostly now lately been loving the Americans this is a nice looking Tahoe glad has running boards know got great performance these are use as interceptors and State Troopers be flying in them. Tahoe has better styling than Expedition although Wagoneer is really gorgeous didn't care much about it when introduced last year when saw in personal it grew on one finally. I've been researching and researching these large SUVs and the only one that really makes sense is the Chevy Tahoe / Suburban vs any others. Besides this, you have to step down to a MiniVan to get better space and better fuel economy. I think when the time is right, I'm going to seriously look at this one.

Contacted Chevy about the Performance Edition not being available anywhere in the US at the moment. Can't even order one due to supply issues. Was told by Chevy on 1-5-23 that they hope to get the parts need for the PE version in the next month or so.
It'd be nice if it comes with a digital rear view mirror and power telescoping steering wheel. I also wish the steering wheel is more sporty, like a thicker racing grip.

Do yourself a favor, if you buy a Tahoe pony up for the 6.2 motor over the 5.3. It may set ya back a few boxes of twinkies but you'll save in the long run
Lowering the 3rd row floor board is major fix. I own a 2017 Tahoe with the high rear floor. My kids hate it back there. Exterior looks decent but not much different than the previous style. Test drove one and the view of the hood is much better. 👌🏾

I ordered the RST middle of November, and it just got delivered today. MSRP $74,450. With the luxury package you get 360' camera, all the safety features, 2nd and 3rd row electric seat folding. As of dealers markup?? 1k only at Rydell chevrolet in Los Angeles. I test drove the Dodge Durango SRT, MSRP 72K and then they asked for 26K markup LOL. I looked the Highlander as well, but your knees are in your face if you seat in the third row, as an adult you can't seat back there for more than 10 minutes.

Adaptive cruise and the 360 cameras are options on RST this one just didn't have. Cooled seats isn't available on RST which is the real problem

My 2021 RST has 2nd and 3rd row power controls in the Back . How come the 23’s don’t have it?

I prefer the 2000's, 08, 10s models. This one looks too boxy for me, but i'm glad people buy it to keep the Tahoe line alive for the next generation.

Tahoes have EXCELLENT resell value and as you can see from many of these comments they will last you until 200k miles +
