Good luck with the new bike i bought new 17 yz250 few months ago. Although I live in ny the tracks up by you are too far for me. I prefer open land and trails anyway I go up to pa every few weeks

250s suck as supermotos. Underpowered especially after gearing for road use.
Also supermoto wheels and tires are considerably heavier than knobbies adding more of a load to an already relatively weak motor.

Belicose777 11-16 KX250Fs have one of the strongest 250f motors, i rode a 12 kx250f and it blew me away with how fast it was compared to my kx250

Ur supposed to wrap the front brake cable around the inside of the forks cuz if it gets caught on something ur done
You need to do some mods - graphics , seat cover etc and make like a build series but with mods

Faster, more Horsepower/Tourqe, more RPM, better suspension, better tuning capabilities, weighs less, and is 3inches slimmer frame and gas tank area and 2017 has plastics with graphics molded into them so don't scratch or rip stock graphics
