I would like to hear you guys speak more on medical therapy. You very rarely seem to mention it, even though it should be the first line of defense, at least for someone who's young.

Dr. Bloxham are you interested in utilizing verteporfin (Visudyne) for scar prevention and potential donor hair regrowth? Some transplant surgeons are starting to utilize it with very promising results. YAP inhibitors and FAK inhibitors could revolutionize surgery and open up your procedures to many more candidates. I would be interested in undergoing a similar procedure as this patient, but I think it is best to have a surgeon who utilizes verteporfin or any other YAP inhibitor.

Still needs fibres on the crown for thickness.

Beggars cant be choosers. Crowns arent the greatest growers. Ive seem many examples and crowns are always less forgiving than frontal area.

Can we see 12-14 months on the crown. Please no more 6 month results on the crown. You said it your self, it grows slower than the front. We would like to see final results. Thank you for providing these types of videos.

Was this guy on medication prior to the procedure? If so, did it make any difference in terms of keeping what he already had when he started taking the meds?

Appreciate you doing scar analysis. FUT not for me. But If it was id want a scar as small as that. I have dark hair and pale skin unless i hit the sun. Plus keloids scar me to death.

Couldn't finasteride save and bring the crown, back? I have a feeling he didn't want to take drugs.

I have been taking finasteride for 3 years, it did not bring back the crown. If he is in his 40s like I am and has had hair loss for many years finasteride is unlikely to cause regrowth in the crown area.

Been on Fin for 3 years, didn't bring back the crown. Min helped in the beginning but the effect faded over 3 years. Eventually got off of Min, stayed on Fin and got a transplant.

I've been on Finasteride and Oral Minoxodil for almost 2 years and while my crown hasn't gotten worse, it definitely hasn't gotten better either.

Thanks for the replies. I'm seeing more and more evidence that generic finasteride doesn't work as well as the real deal Propecia. Are all of you on Propecia or generic?
