Yup, I still enjoy it. It's super easy fishing and relaxing, unlike the stuff I do in the salt, which is a lot of work. Biggest challenge with trolling is untangling lines, lol.
Ain’t that the way. I went to the lagoon and you went down the street, 5 minutes from my house. You caught way more than I did but I did get one good 23” redfish. Our paths will one day cross. Glad you got a bunch.
Well, I so rarely kept redfish anyway that the closure doesn't matter to me. Every other species is still take-able during the open seasons, which haven't really changed all that much in recent years. Just some minor size and bag limit adjustments. Honestly, I prefer black drum, flounder and snapper over the other available species anyway.
