@@gaming_with_john6184 I just watched that Demo video this morning right before this one. I don't see it a lot on any other channels so I don't mind. Demo and HR both make different kinda content so I am OK with it tbh
Interesting how the plates were the one thing to actually cause some real deflection to the path of the cube. Would be interested in seeing that again with a more dead-on drop.
"Well, THAT's not in one piece anymore..." I first remember hearing this from a shocked Scott Gaunson after an errant bowling ball absolutely and spectacularly exploded when it struck concrete at the bottom of a dam while our favorite Gravity Team was attempting to hit a trampoline from great height. I laughed like a fool.
A serious question for you guys- Does the Gravity Research Centre (by which I mean the building next to the tower you use, which most likely owns it) have a seismometer on site? If so, I think it would be very interesting to look at the readings whenever you make a drop, as technically you would be causing mini earthquakes to occur each time you impact. You could also then literally quantify the force transfered from the impacts (given that the mass of the Earth and distance of detection from the impact would be effectively constant) and determine a scale of energy transference- you could quantify just how hard Brucie can punching the Earth, for example.
It’s not a “mini earthquake”. They surely would register on a seismograph though. You could compute the forces Just with basic math without dropping anything. They should get a seismograph to measure the impact though, still a good idea
Fun fact: a German scientist used a 4 ton steel ball to create an artificial mini earthquake to be able to tell what materials where underground before other more efficient methods where available
There's a formula for that somewhere. I'm not a scientist or a mathematician. It has something to do with force, mass, acceleration and stuff. I have taken an interest in climbing trees (arboriculture) and I dive down rabbit holes every once in a while. I'm still very ignorant to a lot of the trade though.

I still would love to see how big of a sound you guys could do from dropping stuff. Instead of the bounce. You got for sound and the biggest boom/pop. I think it would be very interesting
0:28 to answer that Brett, W being tungsten’s symbol comes from the word “Wolfram” meaning Wolf’s foam. Because in the smelting process, it would make a film on the top that looks like a wolf’s mouth foam.
@@benrboss are you sure about that? Wolframite is an ore. A mix so to say and no pure element. Why would you name an element after a mix of different elements?
The symbol "W" comes from the middle name of Tungsten-> The name "wolfram" (or "volframio") comes from the German Wolf ram, "wolf dirt", because this black mineral reduces the value of the tin veins in which it is present. In today's German, the name Tungsten is also used.
The density of Tungsten is one reason they use it in armor piercing rounds. Depleted Uranium (DP) is slightly less dense. DP is only slightly radioactive. The round used in the A-10 ground attack aircraft uses DP 30mm x 173mm round, at around 4,000 - 6,000 rounds per minute. It can literally stop a tank dead in its tracks.

Genius
Epic!
It's a real shame that the bot almost made a good name choice with R2D2.
Cube-ert
Cube Name: Tessy (short for Tesseract)
Goes well with Brucey & Thor’s hammer
YES
I'll endorse that one. Make it so!
My comment suggested “Pablo”, after cubism, but this name would complete the set. +1 from me!
Love it
I was going to recommend tessy
You guys should work with Mark Rober to figure out the physics behind why the top bucket bounces so high and design a drop to maximize that force and send something really high.
Gaunson: Well that’s definitely it in one piece anymore
Me: HE SAID THE THING
What?
“Well that’s not in one piece anymore!” T-shirt. Please do it!
Brett's daughter playing with the paint in her tutu 😭❤
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💖
Lol
The water buckets were as exciting as the powder paint was anticlimactic.
Well in german, tungsten is called „Wolfram“, thats why its symbol is „W“
I was wondering if someone else would have caught that.
In Russian too ('cause we borrowed it from German)
die fäden in glühbirnen bestehen auch aus wolfram!
The same in Latin.
And apparently tungsten is the Swedish word for scheelite, a calcium tungsten ore. Seems that the English were confused 🤔
We need a shirt that says
“we need to watch the slowy” 😎😎😎😎😎✊🏼✊🏼✊🏼🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
I still would love to see how big of a sound you guys could do from dropping stuff. Instead of the bounce. You got for sound and the biggest boom/pop. I think it would be very interesting
0:28 to answer that Brett, W being tungsten’s symbol comes from the word “Wolfram” meaning Wolf’s foam. Because in the smelting process, it would make a film on the top that looks like a wolf’s mouth foam.
Paint it blue and call it "Tessa" short for "tesseract"
Ok, thats the idea of the day! Love it! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
A cube is not the same as a tesseract
@@vitriolveio yes I’m well aware of that but I was referring to the marvel tesseract. Do you think they used an actual tesseract??
"W" stands for "Wolfram", the german name for tungsten.
Nah it obviously stands for “wumbo”
It's actually w for wolframite Wich is the name of tungsten when it is still an ore
@@benrboss are you sure about that? Wolframite is an ore. A mix so to say and no pure element. Why would you name an element after a mix of different elements?
Ahh. Good ol' Wungsten. One of my favorite elements, next to PBead and AGilver.
That can't be true, we all know Germans don't exist
The symbol "W" comes from the middle name of Tungsten-> The name "wolfram" (or "volframio") comes from the German Wolf ram, "wolf dirt", because this black mineral reduces the value of the tin veins in which it is present. In today's German, the name Tungsten is also used.
4:25 min. Your welcome

Bot
I think you should name the cube, "TESERACT", as it's named in the Marvel movies from Thor.
Nickname: tessy
💯♥️♥️
❤️🐾🙄
❤️🐾🙄
The W actually comes from the element's other name, Wolfram. It was what the Wolfram PPK in Bond was made from. Tungsten :)
The cube costs 2499,00$!
Ok, this will get pinned
we know you googled it :D
Wow I posed that a week ago a Jew
you put the , in the wrong place
cool
Name: Tessa (tesseract)
That is a very good name
"There was some SCIENCE there!"
T-shirt!
"Can I paint my hand?" ☺️ This reminds me so much of my daughter when she was younger... Time really flies! This is our family's favorite part of this video
You should name the cube “The Tesseract” (“tessie” for short) to stick with the Mavel theme with “Bruce”/Thor’s Hammer “Clayton”
Tessie
Definitely Tessie
Tess! Tessie! Imagine Wagons has imagined a great name! Bingo bango bongo!
“Im telling you, I have a degree” needs to be a shirt
This... a million times this. Would wear it to death.
