This was a super helpful video! I have always seen these LXI ports and just expected that it was too much bother to use but they seem great for test systems!
I tried USB and I cant get the software to do anything. It recognized my Rigol DS1054 but that's it. The UI doesn't do anything as far as I can tell except search for devices. I can't find the scope software anywhere. As far as I caN TELL i INSTALLED IT. i DOWNLOADED BOTH PACKAGES???? Just another rabbit hole. There were reasons I left Windows 15 years ago and it's all coming back to me now! OK I got it. Guess I just needed another system restart. To be fair my Linux Distro is requiring that more and more now too. I used to be able to patch and recompile kernels on the fly but not anymore as far as I can tell. 😁
