This is a super rare opportunity to own the only fully aluminium Crendon 427 SC Cobra
This true masterpiece by John Kerr founder of Crendon , Chassis CR001, Was built to be as original specification as possible and is an amazing and rare creation.
Correctly registered 21/09/1999 with just 3403 miles recorded
Chassis: Crendon twin-tube ladder frame using 4” x 1/8” wall thickness CDS Round section steer tube main rails, 3’ and 4’ CDS round tube chassis braces, Scuttle frame in 2” x 1” box section panelled in 14-gauge steer sheet, Steel floor, Fully drilled and bracketed, Epoxy coated, Single hoop roll bar braced in the boot.
Body: Full 18-gauge aluminium body by classic car parts and panels (Made bodies for AC) on 16-gauge steel tube support frame
Finished in beautiful unmarked Guardsman blue with Wimbledon white stripes,
Aluminium panelled inside boot and layout as per original Cobras
Suspension: CR Tubular double wishbone, Jaguar uprights and hubs, CR Spec coil over adjustable socks and springs, Narrowed rear jaguar wishbones and drive shafts, CR Radius arms with jaguar void bushes,
Engine: Ford 428ci FE V8 Big block ( Y Block ) Unleaded Head conversion. With Cobra 427 rocker covers, 4 barrel Holley carb , Turkey pan, Electronic Ignition system, Tubular exhaust headers, Correct header tank, Remote oil cooler etc.
