Even casual fans appreciate grappling. They may not know how it works, but it’s fun to watch.
Grappling is like chess you stack up a bunch of small positional wins to eventually go for the kills. Mma is more chaotic even when it hits the floor if you're on bottom. Just have to hold on for dear life so they dont posture up and split ur face open.
One has it all! Thai mma and grappling.
I have ZERO knowledge of actually DOING it, but I can appreciate the skill involved, and the planning. Chess with physical consequences.
I hope you move up from casual MMA fan one day and realize that if jiu jitsu was easy it would be called sambo.
