my mom would listen to this song and cry and sing it right from her heart. you really helped her caamp. shes gone now, but shes probably up there jamming out to this RIP 1982-2022
This music is what you play - driving in the countryside with the hills all around you, and the wind coming though the window. Such a relaxing and moving song. The feelssss 😩
That was. The most raw, uninhibited vocal expression I have every heard in my life. It was even beyond that Kesha note. I cannot believe what I just heard and what you just made me feel. I am here, and I will wait for you. I have waited and I will keep waiting. Even if it is in another lifetime. I love you Adam. That felt like someone pressed the golden buzzer, it felt like resurrection. I've never felt the emotion that just evoked in me, and my nervous system has never felt that sensation either. I am here, wherever and everywhere you are, waiting. Not for You. With You.
Sooo I fell in love with your comment and that in turn made me fall in love with you. You literally took the words right out of my mouth and not just that but you spoke and wrote it exactly how I was going to say it. Put it this way, that feeling this song gave you and how you described it is verbatim what I was writing until I saw yours😄
It sounds like many songs I really like for instance "If I go, I'm going" by Gregory Isakov or "Ho Hey" by The Lumineers and that is the reason why its feel like home for me.
[Verse 1] There’s something in my heart And it feels like fire There's a yearnin’ in the river And it feels like home Take me down, take me down to the water [Chorus] I need time Give me time [Banjo Interlude] [Verse 2] The old Shenandoah gonna keep me right And hold me like I was forgiven Take me down, and let the beachwood light [Chorus] I need time Give me time [Refrain] Ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh [Verse 3] Tellin’ myself to keep good faith There ain’t much these days to celebrate Pullin’ my hoodie over my face [Chorus] I need time Give me time [Refrain] Ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh [Banjo Interlude] [Verse 4] Take my name when I'm dead and gone And throw my ashes in the river Know that I lived my whole life long And gave all the love that I could’ve given [Refrain] Ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh Ooh ooh ooh
This reminds me of the time my friends and I went to the beach at night before college came back in session and it was just really special. We took pictures and videos and it was so warm. We tried to make a bonfire but we failed but I just enjoyed the moonlight and the waves crashing in all of its windy glory. Now it’s winter and I’ve luckily seen those friends recently but hopefully summer brings more memories like those.
Our school took us on a camp thing. Basically we went deep into the middle of nowhere and hiked and cycled for 2 weeks. One of the days we hiked to this campsite by the sea, it was so far from civilization it felt like we were on a different planet. That night one of the teachers played his guitar while we all lay next to the fire and watched the stars. I talked to this girl about different constellations and it just felt so right and perfect everything was dark and it was just the music. If I could do anything again that trip would be it, so I could appreciate it more than I did.
This song makes me cry, even though I’ve just heard it. It reminds me of my old best friend. Walking to the river, discovering beaver trails, camping, sledding, berry picking, catching chickens, watching chicks grow, her three dogs, days in the pool, days by the lake. All of it. I miss that friendship. It’s exactly what I want to live again. I felt so free back then, now I feel caged. The closet thing is my aunts cabin. This song also reminds me of that cabin. The crickets, the view, that one crow. It’s overwhelming nostalgia. That’s what this song is.
i should make a playlist for the kind of song im listenjng to recently... lovable symphonies that feel like a silent home, a shelter i can only find once I'm completely alone, at 2AM december summer nights it does bring me peace.
Listening to this song , makes me feel like I'm walkin alone in a jungle in a gloomy day . Having a sad feeling in your heart but you just smile and live in the moment
Heard this song on a camp leader’s playlist while we were coming back to the cities…It’s a great song. Reminds me of the days when I was camping as a kid
I listen to Alt Nation and they played Caamp awhile ago. They introduced the listeners by playing Peach Fuzz and now I just love this band. With each new song I hear, I get a new vibe from them. I can't wait for more. Keep it coming.

I’m a former gang member, so believe me when I tell you “Music is the universal language”, I’m guilty of introducing music like this to my Homies (Cholo’s) back in the day. so sorry for your loss x

This song has something that has me in its grip. Can’t explain it. Lumineers vibe but yet distinctly personal.
This reminds me of "If I go, I'm going" by Gregory Alan Isakov
Love this song 💙
I was thinking the same omg
It sounds like a fusion of "If I go, I'm going" and "Ho Hey"

I traveled for work this summer was the only band I listened to majority of the year. Made it far. Alaska
I've been searching for new songs recently, and now I get rad, unpopular recommendations and it makes me feel nice
Look up Nathanial Rateliff, The Revivalist, The blue stones. All good stuff in my book.
@@Shovelman220 will do 👀
Yeah the more underrated stuff you look at, the more awesome stuff you get recommended, its really great.

Or Avett Brothers and The Head And The Heart
What kind of music do other people call this?

There's a yearnin’ in the river
And it feels like home

Only good vocals doesn’t make a song that smooth .. When you sing it from your heart that’s when the song gets real❣️
I can't explain why this song made me cry as much as it did. It just really does remind me of home.
Call me selfish but I don't want your music to be discovered by people, it's my hidden treasure!

Parece casa
Tem algo no meu coração
E parece fogo
Há um anseio no rio
E parece casa
Leve-me para baixo, me leve para a água
preciso de tempo
Me de tempo
O velho Shenandoah vai me manter certo
E me segure como se eu fosse perdoado
Leve-me para baixo e deixe a luz do beachwood
preciso de tempo
Me de tempo
Me dizendo para manter a boa fé
Não há muito estes dias para celebrar
Puxando meu capuz sobre meu rosto
preciso de tempo
Me de tempo
Pegue meu nome quando eu morrer e partir
E jogue minhas cinzas no rio
Saiba que vivi toda a minha vida
E dei todo o amor que eu poderia ter dado
